Exclamation "Upping" the incessant High Pitch Noise

I am new to LD, but a longtime stragler regarding astral projection. I would not be able to count on my hands and toes how many different techniques I have tried. Anyways...

Have any one of you concentrated on that high pitch ringing inside your head? I'm sure a couple of you have. The method I have been working on for AP pertaining to the 'high pitch noise' is to concentrate on the noise for 3 minutes until you feel the vibrations. They say you basically need to concentrate until the ringing is loud enough to block all other sounds out.

Now, I have been able to get the level of 'noise' fairly high; four times I was able to meet the specifications but only for a half-second burst. This might be because I was excited, scared or... this is where you guys/girls or girls/guys come into the picture.

I need some help reaching AND maintaining the high pitch noise to a point where all other sounds are nullified.

      Thank you!

i have heard you can actually record that noise in your ear with a small microphone. i've never tried i have always wanted too, because if you played it back really loudly i wonder if it would literally expand your conscious??

I hear that high pitch noise too, concentrating on it is a good idea, I'll try that.. does it also feel like the pressure in your head/ears changes when that sound is getting louder?

In response to your question when I mimic the situation, no.
From my view of the noise, the only thing that changes is your perception and level of concentration. I don't believe that the noise ever increases physically, but practicing concentration excercises will enable you to an overall strength in that feat.

In my opinion, the only reason I'm not able to maintain the noise is because I cannot concentrate as well as I need to for this excercise.

      Honestly, I sincerely doubt it.

Expanding your consciousness* and mental stature cannot be done simply by physical upgrading, usage of mnemonic devices or a small microphone.
It is done through all of the values (such as patience, honesty) that are demanded through mental activities.

Unfortunately this life is not black and white as some would so hope it to be; if you DO wish to expand your consciousness, google, "critical thinking". That, in itself, will not only teach you to answer the questions, but rather question the answers.

Sigh, some people are quite obnoxious.
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

Is truth obnoxious? I like to tell things as they're with a few anecdotes, metaphors and courteous synonyms.

Bias of an individual with poor communication skills is to be expected.

No you just have an attitude.

The truth is wonderful, I highly doubt he'll be able to record the ringing in his ear as well. You are just rude.

Google critical thinking, better yet google obnoxious.

Have you been protected your whole life? There ARE rude people out there; most of them happen to not care for people, however. Could you not deduct the advice I volunteered to the cybermember?

Perhaps you were a friend of someone who was aggravated as a child, individual bias triumphs.

The manner in which I convey the information is not as relevent as the content in respect to my ways.

I do not post in hatred or deceit; these are my ways.

I've met a billion rude people in my life does that mean I sit their and let their attitude run the show, I do not. I tell them to watch their tongue or get out of my face.

Manner is far more important than what information you convey, you could convey the meaning to life but no one would listen if your attitude was garbage. It's as simple as that. You must have missed that lesson in your life along the way.

Figures, another New Englander, next you'll tell me you live in Massachusetts and your attitude will make all that much more sense.

      P.S. Far from protected.

I suppose I can continue this 'pissing match' in email if you're so bold to match philosophies, Here.

As I recall, I never once called someone a demeaning name; all that I have done is give advice. There is another variable in play here, please take note of it. The concepts behind the words.

      Good day.

I didn't say you called anyone anything demeaning, you just came off as very rude.
