While one enters into the lucid dream world, one will carry the programming of your own culture & community within the dream landscape and project it upon the dream world.

I was looking for any techniques or suggestions that could assist in escaping a persons programming, as we seem to always fall into old habits of interpretation when we have a chance to visit other realms through dreaming.

How does one drop some of the learned perceptual programs since our birth, and shift off from society's collective view of the nature of the world?

in truth, there is no easy answer

to overcome the programming is to look within and constantly question, even your own ideas of who you are. until you knock down preconceived notions. that takes a life time, or life times

you can try to use the dream itself to help you do this

while lucid, just explore the dream. don't take any charge. just explore it and constantly question the dream. see how things are put together, or how people act. what makes the dream world what it is?
