Tell me can you "sense" out other lucid dreamers? and ap'ers?

Call me crazy (and if you're thinking about doing so, take a number and get in line) but I think that perhaps there's a way to be in auto-rapport with people who lucid dream and astral project (BD'ers...you're welcome to post here). Back in 11th grade I sat next to this girl in class who dressed normal, looked normal and was pretty cute. She had long curly brown hair, a nice smile, a rich personality and was by all observable accounts...a normal kid. But I just got a strong sense that she was into something more than meets the eye. And no, I don't mean she had a shrine dedicated to Optimus Prime either. I wanted to ask her if she delved into anything esoteric or was into magick or lucid dreaming...just something...but I never did. Pre-supposing it was all in my head, imagine how a conversation like that would have gone. I digress so anyway I found out later through a mutual friend that she actually was into reading spell books and into esoteric practices and all that jazz. Neat huh? I met this couple at work that seemed pretty normal except for a tad on the eccentric side. I sensed something about them as well. I asked them did they believe in the concept of the spirit leaving the body as shamans, druids, monks etc. have done for hundreds of years (possibly thousands) and the guy said "Astral projection?" I and my girlfriend are really interested in it and have tried it for quite some time. I thought that was pretty interesting.

I think it's also important to note that I use the term astral projection to be synonymous with lucid dreaming. I have not personally verified much of a difference in my own nightly escapades (sorry BD'ers ).

In my opinion, I just think it's auto-rapport but what about you? Have you sensed or vibed with people who you just KNEW were into it and found out later that they were? If so, do tell...

There's this dude who runs my computer programming workshop that knows what lucid dreaming is. Seemed surprised that I knew. But we were only talking about it because this girl (who lives on my floor, coincidentially) said she was interested in dream recall and control. I've talked more about it with the girl, and we are on friendly terms now. :]

I think that people who are interested in lucid dreaming have a sort of "other-world" sort of vibe. We all seem to have some sort of idea that there exists another world that can be reached, be that through dreams or other practices. Sometimes that's just drug-users, but sometimes I feel that if I can tell who would also be interested in dreams and if they haven't heard of lucid dreaming may at the very least think over the idea.

Unfortunately, I don't seem to find many people like that around here. There's not a very large open-minded population overall.

I haven't expirienced this "sense" before(at least not in the case of knowing who is a lucid dreamer), but maybe that's because I have only had one lucid so far. I would like to know more of this "sense" though. Can you describe it? Is it just a feeling where you just KNOW that person "x" is into the metaphysical/paranormal, etc. I have expirienced the strong feeling of knowing something, but it doesn't relate to people being interested in lucid dreaming/astral projecting.

This thread didn't need to be moved to beyond dreaming. Whatever mod did so should research what RAPPORT means. There is nothing paranormal about this. I'm closing this.
