      My first OBE!

Last night, I technically had my first true OBE. I somehow passed the sleep paralysis state, and was aware of myself, trying to separate from my body. This is my first OBE where I literally was looking my physical self in the face. I can't tell you how amazing it is to see yourself, without a mirror! Thoughts? Comments?

      Amazingly weird isn't it.

Like the dishes still asking to be washed, things will not be solved by covering them with a blanket.

Good work, kinda curious, but, when you seperated, did you see anything else in the room or in during SP like some entity?

While I can't say tell you 100% how the OP did the OBE, I think he basically got to SP and then when he was fully paralyzed, lifted himself out of his body maybe through the rope technique where he imagined himself climbing out of his body using a rope or possibly the rollout technique, where he rolled out of his body

I actually didn't remember going through sp. It was like I became aware right after the sp part. It was all unintentional.

A time before this, I had an unintentional WILD, where I learned something. It became intentional after I realized I couldn't move, then I knew I was golden, and I did the roll out technique. Then, right after the roll out, I ended up right in a dream scene, so that wasn't technically and OBE.

One of the misconceptions I had with WILDing, was that you could separate when your body was only numb. You have to be in full paralysis, and you will hear some crazy noises and are basically stuck. Then just sort of roll back and forth, like a boat or something. WILD's are tough, but you definitely have to be really tired. The object is to actually fall asleep, rather than just keeping your mind awake. Let yourself go just enough to sleep, but have the thought to WILD in the back of your mind. Hope this helps...

Yeh I had the exact same thing, I've had SP lots of times but one time managed to drag my body out of bed and was standing on the top on my stairs looking at myself laying in bed but didnt want to go back into the room cause I senced a scary vibe.

I also remember thinking "how will i get back into my body" but continued down the stairs and outside where it was daylight.. I then knew i must have been dreaming because it should have been night time.

Oh and those noises in your head can get so high pitched and loud that it feels like your ears are about to pop it's horrible!
