hmm who is to say that we dont already do that ? Enter each others dreams I mean. I meet a lot of "strangers" in my dreams....strangers because they aren't people I've ever met irl. But who is to say they aren't real? Maybe I figure in their dreams as well but they count me as a fantasy or dream character because they dont know I'm a real person... WakataDreamer.....interesting idea. I picture of you might help....so one would know which face to look for in a dream. Imagine to share a dream with someone...experience something together there....and then wake up and talk about it! Man that would be something :-)

Assuming that anyone could enter the dreams of others, how would the hopeful provee find or recognize you as compared to any of the other males in california? @ you and mariamay: i've hear dreamwalkrers claim that they can find a person just by saying any name associated with them or something like that, so a picture or anything like that is unnecessary. @mariamay: due to the large number of people on Earth, the chances f us running into each other, even once in our entire lifetimes, is incredibly small. But your idea is a good one (that maybe all of the "dream characters" are really other dreamers). Personally I believe that some are dream characters, while others are other dream characters. I couldn't say for sure if there are any true dreamwalkers. But if there are, aren't you limiting yourself to those dreamwalkers with godlike omniscience, when there might possibly be other dreamwalkers who would need some link or connection to you?

But you are asking for someone to connect their dream state to your dream state in an objective ur-reality which is no longer purely under the control of either party.

he he....I kinda enjoyed reading that little conversation between you two ....its nice to have your morning coffee with a smile on :-) I must agree with starry eyes though.....I dont believe you can apply any kind of theory to the entire mankind. Some things work for some peeps while other things work for others. Personally, if I was looking for a steanger (like you if I was to meet up with you in a dream) the more info possible the better. A Name, a face, personality traits so I'd know what the person would feel like (yeah I'm one of those weirdows :-D).... and yes, there is an incredibly large number of people on earth ....just like there is an incredibly large number of users on the Internet....and yet here we are....we ran into each other right here on this forum.

To give you a basic idea, it's that everyone dreams in the same dream universe, but all of the dreamers are placed in random locations at the start of their dream, and the dream plane/dream universe/Dreamland that is shared by all dreamers is huge. That's why you sometimes bump into people you think are other dreamers. But not always, rarely. Because of the massiveness of Dreamland, and the wide distribution of dreamers. If this theory were correct, to meet someone in a dream you would merely have to locate them in the dream universe (Dreamland), instead of having to "enter their dream." Because if the theory is correct, it's all one big dream that goes on forever, and we are all momentarily accessing it each night. Like "logging in" to an online game, if you will. Doesn't that sound intriguing?

Which was kinda what I meant when I talked about it in previous posts....that maybe the people/strangers we meet in our dreams are just other people who are also dreaming. Like one big shared subconsious that is kept alive and going because there's always someone whos asleep on planet earth (different timezones) I'm currently working on a little pet-project that requires a good amount of imagination and this dreamland theory fits in just perfectly with that :-)
