Thread: Uncanny

I admit I am one of Those.
The people leery of this "novel/swine" flu vaccine.

Yesterday at the doctors office I was told that this shot would be available next month.Then the doc reintegrated it would be there by my next appointment.This went on for a bit, until finally I said to him rather sternly "I have NO intention of getting that vaccine. Thanks but no."
I had felt a bit coerced and frankly do not like my arm being twisted in general to the ends of "making" me do anything. Stubborn,I have been told. LOL.

Later in the evening I was driving to the store and I happened to look up and saw a seagull flying overhead.The top side of the bird, above the wings was the normal white the birds usually are, but the underneath was stained blood red. It appeared to be at a standstill. Nothing helped to dispel the uncanny/odd feeling I had for the rest of the day.

In any event, no vaccine for me.And that has NOTHING to do with a certain seagull. Right.
