Can your supernaturaly heal yourself? I have a bad flu

I caught a very bad flu. And unfortunatly it is giving me insomnia. It seems I will wake up every hour or so. All night long. Last night, It felt like someone opened my door and that bright white light was coming through. I saw that through the corner of my eye, I looked over at the door and nothing happened. I don't know if that was an "entity", hallucination from my flu, or a figment of my imagination.

Anyways, most people say they get sleep paralysis when they have bad insomnia. I do not get sleep paralysis or anything. I only remember having one dream the whole night.

I was wondering if you guys had any alternative medicine techniques to get rid of a flu. I am drinking lots of fluids and having soup like the doctors would say, but i was just wondering what you guys do?

Do you guys listen to any special presets on BWGEN? Or do some special meditation? Or maybe even try to heal yourself while dreaming?

I hope this info will benefit me and anyone else that gets sick and could use some alternative advice.

      Thanks for everything,
      RTCovenent

P.S. Sorry that my post does not make too much sense, or that it isn't organized well. It is hard to think clearly and get your thoughts across with this virus.

This *is* borderline, but I'm going to place it in Beyond Dreaming, because alternative medicine usually (but not always) falls in the same category as psyhic powers and the like. I'll leave the shadow topic in General Discussion so you can get the best of both worlds in any case.

First I liked to welcome you to Dreamviews RTCovenant

Second I must admit at which point I am personally at I don't really believe what I am going to tell you. But the mind has no limits & because I don't fully understand or are aware of somthing does not mean that someone else may not be able to.

I have read that if you can reach the deepest state of meditation to where you are connecting with your soul it is possoble to supernaturally heal yourself.
The auther could reach this state and cured what the doctors called an incurrable tumor in her stomach.
She stated some other cases as well. At the time I was not real focused on the specifics of how to reach this point. I will try to find who the auther was.

No, you can't heal yourself. Go see a doctor before you get worse.

      i've come across a story like Howetzer's

i've seen a documentary on Discovery Science about a kid that had an uncurable brain tumor - and was sent home to die. a psychologist then offered to treat him.

the kid was about 8 or so when star wars came out and he was fascinated by it.

the psy . told him to imagine that the tumor was the bad guys and the white cells where fighters that were distroying the mother ship

i know this sound far fetched- but kids have a very powerful imagination and passion.
6 to 7 months later he went "to fight" and didn't find anything- the tumor was gone
the person lived but had some disabilities because of the permanent damaged caused earlyer by the tumor.

i truly believe that humans have the power to heal themselves. you have to think that like you control you arm , you can control you cells
you have to know with a certain level of certainty what the disease is and where it is located- to be able to focus on it

      get well soon.

Immunics is a non-physical form of yoga that is virtually impossible to explain, as any yoga would be, but which certain people have a knack for and find quite easy to pick up. This iCollege presents a variety of ways to begin learning, including an interactive Talkshow called The Cure Show. As you will hear on The Cure Show, people feel immediate changes, within minutes, when they start doing immunics.[/b]
There is just no end to this stuff is there. I thought we had chewed through every mad subject there is out there, but now we've got "immunics". Somebody save me.

      healing yourself

Funny no one seems to mention all the people who died trying to heal themselves. All we get is stories about someone swearing off doctors, and curing tumors or whatever just by thinking about it. Of course no one mentions many diseases will cure themselves anyway if left to chance, no holistic or witch doctor required . You'll just hear some rare story about a kid w/ a tumor who cured it by thinking of Star Wars. Even if this story is true, it is wrong to draw a conclusion that thinking of a movie was the actual cure, when in reality, he would have been cured anyway. ---BY the way, I have read several stories, of mothers who took their kids off meds or chemo, against their doctor's wishes, because some nut Holistic or whatever you call them, used so-called alternative medicines to "heal them" - THE KIDS DIED - It is quite depressing to hear of kids dying from some crack-pot "cure", when modern medicine could have saved them. ---So you with the flu, keep thinking hard, and you'll be healed! Then you could add your case to the many success stories of positive thinking! (of course, most of the time, the flu will heal itself anyway, but you could ignore that fact)

well, funny you didn't mention all the people who died BECAUSE of medicine. thats not the point.
first of all diseases don't cure themselves- second when a body heals whithout medicine - well .... isn't that what we are trying to say
the brain tumor the kid had was : key word uncurable. and who ever said thinking of a movie cures you????? here is something called : analogies

I watched a beginning video with the bald guy. He looked very content and happy, but he laughed a lot for no reason at all and he seemed a bit out of it?

I'm extremely cautious with that site, is their any others? My gut reaction told me to stay away from that one.

Thanks for the advice, and that star wars thing does make sense. I do beleive that is possible

Of course you can heal yourself... to a degree. Witches have been doing it for thousands of years through herbs and stones. My suggestion as a witch, though: See a doctor. They are more qualified to determine your health and heal than you are.

As far as those "healers" on television are concerned... I think they are full of shit. However, faith and the power of the human mind do affect the healing process so they do accomplish some good.

I dunno, this is just my opinion, but it seems like doctors will just hand you a pill for every problem you have.

Are you depressed? Take a placebo.
Are you feeling pain? Take a ibprofen
      Are you ____? Take a ____.... etc...

I feel like doctors never look to natural healing or any "alternative medicine". Maybe they are bribed by prescription drugs companies to say the stuff they do, but who knows?

I firmly beleive their is not a pill for every solution.

I am trying to find a good doctor, but they all seem to just recommend pills or surgeory for everything.

I agree with you, again to a degree. It used to be that what doctors prescribed (generally speaking) were 'pills' derived from medicinal herbs and such. Personally, I don't hold a lot of faith in doctors (most nowadays are money-grubbing assholes who don't care about the patients), but if my health is that bad off I would rather see them than not. About a year ago, one of those doctors saved my life.

If multiple doctors are recommending surgery... maybe you should at least look into that avenue? I don't know... I don't claim to know your situation and I don't want to make any assumptions, especially in matters regarding your health. I don't know that any of us here are really qualified to help you. If you know what's wrong, or at least the symptoms, I would suggest doing some research on your own. Then you can make a sound decision about how to move forward and what method of healing you'd like to pursue.

Either way, I wish you good luck and good health!

There was an episode of Seinfeld that was about that alternative medicine nonsense. The "preist", or whatever you call the "healer", did some pretty weird stuff, like put a pyramid hat on George, rub some crystals, light some incense, and chant some silly nonsense. I'll take the pills the doctor gives me any time. Besides, if they screw you up, you can always sue the drug companies for millions. Can you sue one of those Holistic preachers? They probably don't have any money, they spend it all on crystals and new-age CDs.

Not necessarily. I live in the United States and President Bush made a new law making it harder to get money from sueing people. Well, I am happy your content with our health system. I am not and I'm still looking at alternatives.

      If you go to,

Under freebies, they have something that is called DNA Activator. As anyone tried it or can confirm it works?

My astral healing (can you supernaturaly heal yourself)

      Hello! *

My name is Clairity and I've had an astral healing experience. Below is my journal report from that day which I had posted to the alt.out-of-body newsgroup back in May of 1999.

      **

Hi all! I had an interesting experience Sunday morning that I'd thought I'd share with you. As some of you might remember I had a second surgery on my abdomen in Feb. 1999. *All seemed to be healing well (i.e., no pain) until a little over a week ago when I started experiencing *extreme* tenderness beneath my surgical scar.. almost as if I had been cut inside... or had pulled or torn the internal stitches beneath the scar.

I decided that the next time I got out of body I would try to do a "healing" on myself. *I had a semi-lucid dream Sat. and, though I wasn't very lucid, I placed my hands on my astral abdomen and "thought" heal. *The next morning I felt my abdomen and was not surprised to find it still very tender. *

Since I REFUSE to have another surgery.. I decided to try again. *

Sun. morning I was sleeping fitfully when I realized that a geometric pattern had formed before my eyes. *I concentrated on one of the squares and found myself being drawn into it. *I realized that I was dreaming and I decided to go OOB. *I closed my astral eyes and when I opened them, I separated from my body and I crawled out of my bed.

I thought "I need to heal myself" and I immediately found myself in an operating room. *There were about 5 surgeons surrounding an operating table. *When I went to the table, the surgeons vanished and I saw that "I" was laying naked on the table.

I climbed on the table and looked at myself. *My eyes were open and I saw fear (which surprised me) and I felt my astral self laughing with joy (which also surprised me). *I placed both my astral hands on the abdomen of the me laying on the table. *I then sent two lightning bolts of healing energy into my abdomen while saying the word "HEAL" (it reminded me of those paddles that they use to resuscitate people whose hearts have stopped). *I "hit" myself twice and the me on the table cried out in pain (or shock) and the experience ended.

When I "woke up" in my physical body, I decided to just record the experience and go back to sleep (this was around 2:15 am). *

I woke up to start the day around 10 am. *I went into the bathroom and tenderly touched my abdomen... there was no pain.. I pressed harder and felt only a slight twinge! *I was afraid to believe it.. so I decided to give it 24 hours. *Well 24 hours passed and the slight twinge of pain that I felt when I pressed my abdomen was even less!

      **

This experience was almost 6 years ago and the pain in my abdomen has never returned.

All I can say is that, whether you believe or not, there are things greater than ourselves and the mind has power that we have yet to tap into.

      Just thought I'd share..

      Clairity
