Did I enter some sort of central hub for dreamers?

Alright, so the setting of this dream combined with teleportation, and the fact that there were a few other people wandering about lead me to believe I may have reached some sort of dream world equivalent of an airport or a truck stop or something.

I was in a relatively normal dream that wasn't really that interesting, I can't even remember what it was about, when I decided within the dream "This is boring. Let's go find something else." At that moment, I was wisked away to this room built of yellowish bricks, like the kind that pyramids are made of. The room had one wall missing, however. In place of a wall there were 20 gray columns, each with a different colored glowing gem at the top. Past the columns was the rest of the universe, pitch black except for stars and galaxies. In the center of the room was a planet, just kinda floating there. It looked like a combination of earth and jupiter, with a single ring around it. The planet glowed and the colors on it swirled around a little. I then noticed that there were a few other people in this room, just kinda wandering around and looking at the planet and the columns. I went over to the columns and noticed the one at the end with a greyish flickering gem was broken off and lying on the floor. I knelt down by it and touched it, then was teleported to the surface of another planet that kinda looked like Mars, but completely gray. From here I could see every other planet out there, not as though they were in any kind of solar systems, but as though they were freely moving throughout space.

I *think* you are asking if you entered some sort of...shared dreaming space? Therefore I'm moving this to Beyond Dreaming. What about the dream and the people inside the dream made you feel it was anything different from a regular dream? I know you mentioned the people wandering about, but what about them makes you think they were real people and not regular dream characters? Sounds like an interesting dream though! I love these sorts of dreams.

I guess.. I didn't know much about it so I figured since I was semi-lucid I'd post it there. lol

It kinda felt like they were looking for somewhere to go. I saw a few of them teleport through the columns as well. A couple of them kinda looked at me like "what's she doing here?" for a second, which is kinda how they looked at everyone else who came in. Like they didn't understand why all of these people were in their dream. (which is kinda how I looked at them) Also I rarely had any contact with them. Usually withmy dream characters, they'll say something to me or something. There was only that weird look in this one. The only time there was any real contact was when I got to the column. A couple others came over and asked stuff like "What do you think it means?"
Also the setting was unlike any other dream I've ever had. I can't remember ever dreaming about outer space or anything, and usually if I'm in a room in my dream, it's a room I at least somewhat recognise. (other than that its usually some sort of landscape.)

It's kinda weird to describe. I can draw what it looked like in a couple weeks. (right now I have too much stuff to do for my Interior Design classes.

But usually I have a lot of spare time during Finals week once all my classes are basically done, so I should be able to draw it then.) The place in my dream was beautiful though. Pretty surreal. I want to go back there someday.

I actually found time to start my drawing tonight

I've just started coloring it, so it could take a few days to a week til I get the final product on here, but so far it looks good.

I'm gonna scan the drawing so I can make this a little better quality, but here it is. I used marker, pencil, a little white paint, and photoshop. I also plan on doing more art about this dream including people, different views, etc.

I just have to go through my pix and edit them so they fit the size requirements. Right now they're pretty much all 300 dpi full size photoshop documents lol
