Dreams, are they a treasure of knowledge?

      Hey everybody,

One thing that intrigues me the most about lucid dreaming is that you have control. And I was wondering if we could take this control to get knowledge from our dreams.

Do I first think that it is possible? Yes, definitely. Why? Because I have had dreams about my future that have come true, other people have had it too. So therefore, I was wondering if we can become lucid in a dream and get these knowledge of the future/past on purpose.

How would we do this? I would appreciate any ideas you guys have on this. My idea is to just wish for it or ask dream characters about this? Some dream characters may know, some may not, we should start by asking every character we see so as to increase our chances of getting such a knowledge.

If that is possible, then imagine other things we can learn from them, things that may pertain to our waking life. Maybe even real "magic".

I think our minds are even more than we give them credit for. They are super computers and can make exctreamly acurate predictions. We are so used to doubting them on a day to day basis that I think we forget how smart our brains are. Perhaps this is why some people can have shared dreams with people they know realy well because our minds can simulate what they are dreaming. I'm not shur its just an idea.

I do agree about our minds being very powerful. But about the shared dreaming being a simulation of our friend is hard for me to believe because in my opinion, that would produce a much larger number of shared dreams than we would expect and there might be room for error if it is simulation because there are "errors" in other simulation of reality by our "minds".
