Ever since i started really paying attention to the world around me i have noticed that my dreams shot up the the amount of detail i recall. But i normally tend to also get caught up in thought that i don't noticed anything that's going on around me sometimes.
Very nice. It's amazing how much of a difference just paying attention makes. It's made me very conscious about how readily I'll tend to get caught up in my own thoughts if I don't stay actively engaged and aware of the world around me. Nothing like learning a new skill to focus the mind (especially one that involves piloting two tons of metal!)
No, this wasn't really something i was working on. At the moment i have just been working on getting a normal sleep routine going again. I guess i was just lucky i happened to notice it. It could be because i have just started learning how to drive recently so i guess i have started paying more attention to stuff when i'm in a car.
Awesome, plmnko098!! Congratulations on the lucid! I tell you, that whole routine with cars acting crazy and not responding to what you tell them to do is so common, yet I miss this dreamsign all the time. In fact, I don't think that I've gotten lucid once this way as the driver (although I did get a micro-lucid once as a passenger.) So great job on taking advantage of this! You know, maybe I should spend more time questioning whether I'm in a dream while I drive. I don't mean driving around town performing the nose plug RC and trying to levitate. But more just keeping the thought in mind a bit more the way I do when I'm walking around. Was this something you'd been working on? Tricky little false awakening too! It's too bad you didn't luck out and get one of those moments where the alarm clock says something crazy like 36:73.
Haha yeah he was a jerk. This was the first dream i can remember that i have had a sudden burst of intense emotion. Felt weird.
Some people say that in dreams you don't have a "limiter" to your emotions, making everyone go to an extreme of whatever small emotion they are feeling. Also. DCs are jerks sometimes. Sorry about that. :/
Yeah i probably should have said that the large sphere was my spaceship so it was the same dream.
Is the dream with the sphere the same dream as the one with the alien space ship? or are those two dreams?
No i don't think so. It felt like what me and my brother could probably naturally do.
I was going to say that that wasn't what I expected, but then again Frieza looks more-or-less scaled, so I suppose it's not too much of a surprise. Were you enhancing yourself at all? Using super-strength, super-speed or anything along those lines?
When hitting him his skin felt kind of hard but my fists would bounce off it like it was rubber. Yeah that's probably the best way to describe it. Hitting dry rubber.
That's interesting. I'm curious, what did he feel like?
It kind of did fight like him in DBZ but with out him using any energy type of attacks. Me and my brother would hit him and he would just absorb the blows with out flinching and knock us away a few times.
Hm... though I also have intense, predominately supernatural bouts of combat when I'm dreaming, this is far more abstract than mine. Usually I don't fight monsters, but other people. So it looked like Frieza, did it fight like something out of DBZ?
