    Here be dragons

When I have good dream control and good lucidity, I will put the dream in green.
It's maybe early to put this up, but I tend to have disturbing and/or violent dreams and I'm a very visual person, which could mean detailed description of unsavory stuff. I will probably put warning at the beginning of dreams containing those, and keep the more graphic description to my private DJ.

My usual dreams partner in crimes are Eli, my tulpa, David, a persistent DC and Michael and Donald, two of my novel characters.
Eli is usually very tall and dark haired, with a long face, thick eyebrows and bright, skyblue eyes. David is only slighty taller than me, with boyish features and ginger hair. Michael is 6ft2, with blond and curly hair and light blue-green eyes. Donald is a red pembroke corgi. If my dream follow the same pattern as before, they will pop up on their own often, so I will keep basic description here to declutter my dreams entries.

    1. Huntress of the apocalypse

by , 12-17-2015 at 07:53 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm in an abandonned hospital, it's brightly light by the sun through broken windows, with dust pilled up in the corners and medical furnitures abandonned around. There was some kind of catastrophy, something that turned the majority of humanity into flesh-eating monsters. I'm trying ton round-up survivors. I walk the allyways, following sounds, and find two teenagers girls huddled in a room, crying. I don't have time to confort them and pull them on their feet to get out of the place. I hear crying again, and right outside the door is another girl in a white nighty with her dark hair loose around her face, holding her own arm and swaying on her feet. The arm she's holding is deadly white, with the veins showing up in dark purples and sickly green. She's infected, turning. I slam the door in her face and scream to the girls to come and help me keep the door closed, but they're too scared and stay rooted in place. The other girl is banging on the door, the whole thing rattling on it's frame and hurting my shoulder. The frame start splittering, but before she manages to destroy it I hear her scream and then it's silence. I slowly open the door and there's giant dogs on the other sides, waiting. I pat a head here and scratch a ear there, the pack rounding the girls up and we get out. We're out on the streets, and our little group is joined by the other survivors, keeping close for protection. I'm the pack leader, the huntress.
We're looking for a house to live in. The street is going up, and the houses on each side are painted white with dark blue tilted roof. Both have a tower, and the one on the right have a big wooden gate, the bottom of it quite weathered and rotting. A couple of survivors and me crawl under that gate and find ourselves in front of an other gate, in fare more better shape. The more slender of us manage to crowl under this one too, and I tell her to open it. The dogs sniffle and whine behind the gate, and as soon as they are in the house they scatter to scout it. We take everyone in and close the gates.
I follow the sound of my pack and find them ripping appart an infected; it's a quick affair, and they are careful not to splatter everything. I get the survivor to the upper levels of the house. It's a big duplex rooms, with beds scattered around, and drapes for some makeshift privacity. I'm given a corner place, with two beds, one to sleep, one to "work as a desk". I thanks the woman giving me my place and go back to the pack. I notice that some of the dog are in fact wild boars, but there are as easygoing as the others. I pet them and go back up. There are clothes on my bed, a dress of beige taffeta and black tulles, with a poffy skirt, alongside a pair of sheer, black tights and a pair of being, shimmering thight high. I change, putting the thight hight over the tights. It's warm and comfy, and the dress dances when I move. I'm walking away when a old, petite woman with black hair and a heavily lined face give me high heels made of a transparent material, decorated with small, shining black pearls and porcelains beige flowers. I slip them on... And wake up.
    2. Elk-xellent

by , 11-03-2015 at 02:48 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm in a wooden barn, full of light with neat stack of hay close to the wall. The only occupant of the place is a gigantic elk, with a head as large as my torso and a antlers span of at least four meters. Its fur is chestnut brown, incredibly thick and soft. I'm here to put his tack and saddle on, and it's well behaved, giving me its head and taking the bite willingly. I secure the tack behind his antlers and tie a decorative piece made of leaves, whites flowers and silver belt to it next to its ear. I bent down to pick brush and notice that its cloven hoofs are biggers that my feets, even in the boots.

    3. The dreaming compilation

This is going to be a long entry!

First dream: Can't teach a fish how to swim

I'm swimming in a river contained in a cemented canal, on the insistance of my cousin. It's sunny and a little windy, but the water is really murky and the few reeds growing in the cement crack are gnarly and sickly. Luckily for me, the water around me is a litle lest disrty and I can see a little through it; my cousin wears a dark blue one piece bathing suit and is coated with grim, save fore her hair and face. She looks like she used to a few years back, when she wore her hairs shoulder lenght and parted in the middle, with blonde highlights. We reach a platform with metallic stairs, there is a group of men here, calling us and reaching out. I grab the railing of the stairs and pull myself out of the water, with a little help. The air is hot and dry; even the strong wind is hot and I can feel my skin dry in seconds. I walk up the stairs to get out of the canal, we're in the middle of a large, dirt and sand plain with nothing in sight but the canal. My cousin doesn't want to get out, and she find the current in the middle of the river and swims with is away from us.

I woke up and did a WBTB, reading stuff and nagging Eli for around twenty minutes

secon dream: Be careful of the curse that falls on young lovers/Starts so soft and sweet and turns them to hunters

I'm walking around town with my family, it's even late dusk or early evening, the street lamps are lit but still there is some sunlight, that grey light that stay around after the sun itself has desappear. It's a pretty town, with old stones houses in terraces and stone paved road; it's clean and pretty touristic, even with the aerial electric line crisscrossing the sky overhead. I lag a little behind and tell myself Eli should be here. He walks up to my side and I realise I'm dreaming.
I smile to him and he wraps his arm around my waist with a smile of his own. We walk a little and he asks me if I want to do anything in particular. I snuggle against him, drawning a blank, until suddently I remember one of my objective: finding my animal totem. I grab Eli hand and excitedly tell him that I want my animal totem. He let me drag him around town and we find a small place with a little gathering of animals under a street lamps. I walk to them and ask which one is my totem animal. A giant, soft gray wolf wearing another wolf skin of the same color like a coat, with the other wolf head half covering her own, comes to sit in front of me. She have light gold eyes and dark gray nose, and a very pink tongue. She's a little on the gangly side, and her paws look almost oversized.* Her head is larger that a average wolf, with more slanted eyes. She makes me thing of a fox in disguise, but I still think of her as a wolf. I ask her her name, and she remains silent, staring intendly at me. I pet her head and scratch gently her neck, asking her name again. She shakes her head, making the wolf fur on her back slips a little, and give me a gentle headbutt. I ask her a third time, and I hear inside my head a feminine voice, ringing like a silver bell, telling me "Name me!" I'm startled and let go of the dream.

*Eli think it looked like a puppy. A puppy the size of a small pony.

Third dream: Seven days to live

I'm controling a man in a zombie apocalypse. The air is gray and yellow, he is in a urban environement with broken up road and falled buildings. I feel the controller in my hand, and it's like I'm overing over his shoulder. I know through story exposition that this apocalypse come from an airborn virus, and that some people like the man I'm controling are unaffected by it. I use the bumpers to have him jump through windows and fight of the infected. They aren't very resistant, and their skin tear like paper under the blow, letting their muscles fall out with lymph rather that blood. In fact, there's very little blood, maybe a couple of small scratchs on my character, as a way to let the payer know that their life is slightly depleted. I make him jump inside a dirty white bus and I fuse with him, and I'm the charater as myself.
This bus is going to a safe place with people immune to the virus, but we're aren't sure that all of us are really immune, and the atmosphere is tense. We keep the doors and windows as closed as possible; only people that proved that they were immune are allowed to get out. The bus have being gutted and the chairs remplaced by diner chairs painted white, with a backrest shaped like a giant echec piece, a knight. At first it's full, but after a couple of stop some chairs are empty. I walk trought the bus and see my cousin again, pouting, and a very old friend being pissy about having to stay inside the bus. I get out and go to speak with the driver, who show me that the bus is being fitted on rails to be able to travel through a very steep fall and up, like a roller coaster. I get vertigo looking at the fall and go back inside the bus, wondering if sitting in front will make is worse or better. I decide to sit in the back and my pissy friend is less pissy, and let me sit next to him.
    4. That's a accurate depiction of travelling with my family actually.

Semi-decent WBTB gave me good viviness but zero lucidity. Let's try that again shall we.

I'm with my mother in her car, and we're traveling through the contry. It's very peaceful, everything is sunny and the forest are lush and bright, deep green. We talk about someone I'm worried about IRL*, and on cue we're trying to get out of a hospital parking lot. It takes some maneuvers but my mother manage to get us out and back on the peaceful road. We reach a small twon, build on a steep hill. All the house are in old, weathered beige stones, with red tiles roofs and accent of potted plants and bright drapes. The road are paved with stones of the same color that the houses. Some of the houses are linked together with small aisles and overpass, it looks lit the town grown on itself over the years, becoming quite maze-like. I walk in a house and go up some stairs to enter another house, where the very old owner agressivly throw me out. I smell smoke, and see that the town hall is on fire, emitting a thick yellow smoke.
There are children running from it and firemen running to it, I join them to steer the reimaining children away. One of the fireman thanks me, and ask for my help to do the same with dogs trapped inside. The smoke is suffocating but I try, and soon there's dogs running everywhere. I don't recognize any of they breed, but some are clearly overzised. One of them, lanky in build with dark shaggy fur take a liking in me and follow me around, giving me doggy kisses and rubbing against me.

*The engineer I worked with during my training period. He gave me some new recently and things aren't easy for him.
