Hey there! If I put in no effort whatsoever, I rarely wake up after my dreams and if I do, I fall back to sleep almost instantly. However, my brain seems very suggestible to the mantra, "I wake up after my dreams." If I repeat this to myself several times before going to sleep at night, it works like a charm.

As for getting back to sleep, I do feel your pain. My sleep chart makes it look like I zonk out again pretty quickly, but the device that tracks my sleep interprets "not moving" as "sleeping." This difficulty is further aggravated when I'm excited about the possibility of an upcoming lucid dream. Any advice I could give would simply be parroting the usual relaxation techniques. I'm excitable and anxious by nature, so I'm still working on it myself.

Hi, Strinky, do you naturally wake up after your dreams? And if so, how do you go back to sleep? I have a hard time doing that.
