Oh man, I eat food ALL the time in dreams!! I'm a total glutton, and it all tastes incredible Dreams tend to like to give us what we expect, though, so expect something to taste amazing next time, and see what happens

With the flying, try maybe something like, just pushing off the ground and see if you can float. Get a feel for what it's like Flying itself can be accomplished in numerous ways. I know one guy flies via backstroke I learned how to fly by spawning wings out of my back.

Of corse you can taste in dreams I eat food in my lucids all the time. You just have to belive that you are able to taste things and fly and breathe fire for it to work.

Congratulations. I can totally picture the dream in my mind the way you described it. You can taste in dreams, you just have to work on it. I ate frogs that turned into cake.
