NonDream Non-lucid Lucid

I'm floating in space, making repairs on a shuttle. My cat, who apparently can breathe just fine, is floating in space next to me. My dad, who is another astronaut, but from another mission (I get the impression he's Russian) floats over to me just as I finish my task. We start to wonder how long we can last up here before we have to go back down to earth. We decide we've got a year's worth of food, and could stay that long. I then wonder if the sun's heat and space's cold would cause stress fractures to develop due to rapid expansion and contraction of the materials.

Dream shifts

I'm viewing a board room, not sure if I'm actually there though. Scientists are discussing the mission, and problems related to it. There is a ton of tension in the room. There is an enormously fat woman who stands up and addresses the conference. She is very douchey and doesn't seem to care about our lives. My cat is there now, and he keeps meowing. The woman is annoyed and puts him in a dishwasher, but doesn't seal it up all the way. I can hear him continue to meow though now it's muffled. She says 'They aren't cats that we can do whatever we want with their lives.'
