How much are you taking? I love melatonin. It helps me fall asleep faster and it has a lot of health benefits. I take 6mg and know people who take more. My dreams haven't felt as vivid since I started taking it but that could just be because I haven't been writing them down.
P.S. Hallways in dreams often mean spiritual growth or learning, it can also mean that the dreamer has untapped psychic abilities. If you're walking through a corridor or hallway it can represent your fustration and trying to escape from a repititious situation.
