This will last longer than memories.

    Army

Right before going to bed, I watched The Hurt Locker.

In my dream, I was a young boy in basic training. All I really remember is running through the halls of a building, probably for some drill thing, and arriving outside a shower area. A couple other boys were coming out, and one had two weights and a metal wire. I started helping him try to thread the wire through the weights (somehow I knew he needed my help.. maybe because his hands were full). All of a sudden, someone else starts messing with me while I'm trying to thread this wire through these weights. I can't see anything all of a sudden, and I get frustrated. Being a young boy, I start to cry and run off, through the door. Instead of walking into a locker room or bathroom, I find myself outside, on a dirt path. 20 yards ahead of me is a two-lane road, and beside the road is a fence with a shower attached to it.

I walk to the shower and my heart sinks as I realize I forgot my towel. Oh well. I strip down and am about to shower when a red car pulls up, blocked by my gear in the road. I move it out of the way, and it pulls up next to me. For some reason (either I became really tall or the car was really short) I have to get on my stomach to see into the car. A lady asks me what I'm doing. I tell her that I'm in the army, and she drives away.

Next thing I remember, I'm on the steps of a house with 4 other boys. They are my brothers. We come up with a brilliant plan; pass me off as adopted, and I can get out of the army. The last thing I remember before I woke up is looking at my dream brothers, and thinking, "they look nothing like me, this plan will work."

I almost forgot; starting when I walk outside towards the shower, and lasting until the end of the dream, I can clearly hear the song "Lowrider" by War playing. This is interesting, especially since I encounter that red car that is so damn low...
