Hey, I'm Awesomeness. I have finally become lucid in dreams, but I need more control. To achieve my goal I will share all of my dreams, even if they're embarrassing!
Real life Dream Lucid Nightmare Dream sign For me to remember, dreams are #067300, and lucid dreams are the color below blue, #4169e1. Nightmares are dark red, #8b0000, and dream signs are the light purple, which is up one and left one from blue, #483d8b. Not a dream about camping, a dream while I was camping. Driving nightmare I was being driven home from school by my Dad. I was in the passenger seat. The road was weird. Strange signs that don't exist in real life, such as two arrows pointing diagonally upward into each other on a yellow diamond, were on the road. The road had a lot of lanes, too many lines, and more exits than usual. There were no other cars, but I didn't notice. We kept driving. The whole road was different from the real route to home, but I didn't realize. Suddenly my Dad took a very sharp wrong turn. I could just feel it was the wrong direction. What the heck? I asked him, "Hey, what's going on?" and he replied with a sinister smile and a finger to his mouth, "Shh..." He didn't turn his head towards me, he just turned his eyes. This can't be real... wait, I'm dreaming! I was now semi lucid. I realized in a dream like this I would have no hope of having fun, and it would only get worse, so I just quit. With an almost bored face I told my dad, "Seriously?". I shut my eyes. Whenever I want to leave a dream, I close my eyes and the dream fades. I can still hear things though... My Dad gets furious at me. "Stuart... WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" The dream fades without waking me up. Normally my Dad is really nice. I bet that's how I realized it was a dream. I'm glad I realized it was a nightmare and destroyed the dream before it got worse and woke me up in fear. I would have woken up in the middle of the night in a tent with nowhere to go and I'd be unable to get back to sleep.

I had another lucid dream today! Lucid dream First dream of the night. Awful recollection. I may have had this dream because I realized when I was in sleep paralysis, and repeated to my self that I'm going to lucid dream. I was in some dream. That's al I remember. I was in a room... I think the color was either brown or green... And it was fall outside. There were 2 windows in room I was in. I was 30 feet or so above the ground. I think I was in a treehouse? Suddenly I became lucid. Again, I was very excited! I thought of what I was going to do today... (Italics are thoughts) Try and fly out the window? No, rub my hands together first. I rubbed my hands together, and clarity improved a little. I forgot to take in my surroundings. And... That's all I remember. Drowned in the pool dream Second to last dream of the night. Very vivid, but I only remember one clip. I was on a cruise ship sort of place, in front of the pool. I looked up into a long vertical tube. Some pale girl with white hair smiled at me. She was hanging inside the tube, but much farther down than she was tall. There's no way she's tall enough to hang in that tube... I asked her how she did it, and she replied that she hung by her feet at the top. Oh well. I walked forward to the pool. I jumped in! Some of my friends were in the pool, laughing and playing. One person who I don't like was in the pool. We played games and had fun. The pool was not viscous enough to be water. I could run in the water almost as fast as outside it. Suddenly everyone had to get out. Someone had drowned. It was someone I knew from Boys Scouts. No one was upset at all. We were all just wondering when we could get back in the pool. The lifeguard was waiting for police to arrive. Someone dashed back into the pool. We all told him to get out. He obeyed. I spotted the person I didn't like, holding his breath at the bottom of the pool. He winked at me in a mean way. Battlefield game dream Last dream of the night. Not as vivid as the pool dream, but still pretty vivid. I was playing a game which was like a war simulation. I bought lots of troops and fought. I lost. Afterwards, I thought about why I lost, and I decided bucket icemen were the best financial investments. They threw big fist-sized pieces of ice at enemies very hard. I got a bunch of buckets, and twice as many icemen. I noticed one of the icemen was throwing ice at the girl I have a crush on at school. I told him to stop. There was a fight. I won. Dreamskip. My parents drove me home on the road that crossed through the battlefield, and I told them all about it. I dreamskipped. I was writing something, maybe a form, I don't know... in a room while the girl I have a crush on was sitting outside. There was a little glass pane, and I could see her face through it. I kept getting distracted, and whenever I looked at her and she caught me she'd smile and raise her eyebrows. I got caught a few times...

Rocket screen dream Interesting dream from a scientific perspective. I was at a Boy Scout camp. It was the largest Boy Scout event ever in history. It was night time. There was a lake at the camp- Cub Scouts were on the other side. They were cheering very loud, and so were we. I walked around and saw lots of people. Two people I saw had stands set up that had lots of violin bows that looked very badly made. They were really fat, like an inch thick, but had weak points where they was only a centimeter thick. They had no finish. There were no violins there. I asked one stand's owner if she knew how to play. She replied, "No, I only know how to bow." I heard a kid yell something cute really loudly at the other side of the lake and commented about it to someone I don't know very well from school, who was a girl but had a boy scout uniform on. She replied something insignificant. Then, the fireworks started. It was the most amazing show I had ever seen, one probably impossible in real life. Huge fireworks went off. By huge, I mean HUGE. I mean a quarter of the entire sky was covered in dazzling orange. I remember popping, sparkling, and vivid colors all across the sky. It was just amazing. It was beautiful. Just awesome in it's huge scale, and amazingly beautiful. But every so often, I'd see a small rocket, maybe a little larger than my thumbnail when I extend my arm all the way. (But they may as well been the size of a house; who knows how far away they were.) They were faintly glowing, and looked a little like this: They had a weird, faint cyan trail which you can't see in the picture. They had a brighter cyan exhaust, which you can see. They'd dance around very randomly in all directions, even down, and fade away. I was curious as to what they were, since they didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the show. After a while, the show ended. Everyone cheered and clapped very loudly. We all thought it was amazing! But then we all gasped... The rockets didn't fit in for a reason. They lit up again... All of them. They were arranged in a grid. It was a massive screen, going across a third of the sky, made completely out of floating rockets. They made pictures, with some of them lit up, and others not lit up, showing letters, words and symbols, such as BSA (Boy Scouts of America). It was the coolest thing ever! Dreamskip. I was in the control room for the BSA camp. I asked people questions about the rockets.

I lucid dreamt today! Oh my gosh! This has increased my will to lucid dream ten fold! Lucid dream All I remember was I was in a white room (this dream wasn't very vivid at all) when suddenly I became lucid! I was so excited I started to feel the dream falling apart. It's a strange feeling. I felt like there was an aching heat in me (but it wasn't a bad feeling) and I was slightly disoriented. Normally when a dream fades from me, it's different. Usually when my dreams lose stability my REM cycle is ending, and I will start to become intensely disoriented, and fall to the ground. Everything in my vision will smear together and fade to white. I guess since my dream lost stability for a different reason, it felt different. I thought of what to do from my experience on the forums and the only thing I could think to do was rub my hands together. I don't even remember seeing my hands, (maybe it was because my dream was so unstable) but I did so and things improved a little. It might have lasted ten more seconds because of that. I was so happy and thought to myself 'I'm aware that I'm dreaming!' until I woke up at 3 something AM. I thought in my head "I WILL remember this dream!" over and over, and went back to sleep. Sci-fi dream I remember none of this dream but it was sci-fi in theme. When I woke up at 8 AM, I did remember this dream, but not the lucid dream. I started thinking all about it in my head. Then I thought, 'Wait a second...' and then remembered my lucid dream earlier that night and got really excited. In my excitement I completely forgot the sci-fi dream, but who cares? I remembered my lucid dream! Last night changed my general beliefs of dreaming in these ways: Lucid dreaming isn't impossible for me!People lucid dream many times before they finally remember one- as you can see here I almost forgot my "first" lucid dream. The above means that dream recall might not improve your lucid dream count because of recognizing dream signs more, but simply because you remember more of your lucid dreams! (This is just an idea, and might not be true)I had an idea a while ago that remembering dreams is like following a train of thought. It seems to me that recollection of dreams seems to never be put in short term memory. When I began to think about something else, I completely forgot my dream, and that might be because the dream was just something I was thinking about, not something in my memory. This could be why most people remember their dreams in the morning, but as five minutes pass you forget it. (This is just an idea, and might not be true)
