    1. Police dream

Real life Dream Lucid Nightmare Dream sign Thoughts

It has been QUITE a long time without recording my dreams. To be honest with myself, I do not me to be the same person as the one that registered this account 2 years ago. I don't even think I'm the same person as myself a year ago... so much has changed in my life. Anyway, moving onward, here's a dream:

      Police dream thing

I'm in some police station in a desert, except it's pretty much wide open space, like the meal tables are just out on the sandstone floor, etc. There's about 30 people within the station, and for some reason the "bad guys" (don't even ask any reasons or motives behind them being bad, they just were) were in the station. I was holding some kind of semi auto and we were approaching the bad guys, going around white (clay?) buildings.

Dreamskip. I have no idea what happened in between, but it was a lot.

The police are my silent enemy now; I don't remember why. The bad guys are gone, and me, one of the cops, and a kid are trying to get out of the station. I "shoot" at the kid to play along with the cops, missing on purpose every time.
I don't remember the gun having any significant recoil at all. We just barely manage to get out without them catching us.

And... that's it. I don't remember anything else.

    2. Long lucid

For me to remember, dreams are #067300, and lucid dreams are the color below blue, #4169e1. Nightmares are dark red, #8b0000, and dream signs are the light purple, which is up one and left one from blue, #483d8b.

This is the longest lucid I've ever had. Overall, the dream was boring. I don't remember any events happening. Low lucidity, forgot to stabilize. Flew!

      Strange dream

I was alone on a dark street lit by yellow lights, walking down a cobblestone path. I entered a pharmacy store. I looked at rack of flash drives. At the bottom was a metal basket of 2GB SanDisk Cruzer flash drives. They had everything but the white thing. I could read the text just fine. Above that was a basket filled with slightly fatter ones of the same model that read 4 GB. Above that, a basket of even larger 8 GB ones that had colorful built-in flashlights. The last basket had huge 16 GB flash drives, which had the flashlight built in, as well as another mini-flash drive sticking out to the side on each.

Something about washing a large yellow room with a bunch of other people.

At a camp. Someone picks up a pickle.

I am on a relatively fast public transport system train. I sense I'm not on the right train, so when the train stops, I get on another one, which is on a perpendicular track.
I realize I am dreaming as I enter the city I was meant to go to. Yes! Forgot to stabilize.

I skim along the city's streets, a few feet above the ground. I try to go higher but I feel like I can't. I keep going for a while.

    3. First lucid dream! YAY!

by , 11-02-2010 at 01:35 PM (Awesomeness's quest for lucidity)

For me to remember, dreams are 067300, lucid dreams are the color below blue, #4169e1, and dream signs are the light purple, which is up one and left one from blue, #483d8b.

I lucid dreamt today! Oh my gosh! This has increased my will to lucid dream ten fold!

      Lucid dream
All I remember was I was in a white room (this dream wasn't very vivid at all) when suddenly I became lucid! I was so excited I started to feel the dream falling apart. It's a strange feeling. I felt like there was an aching heat in me (but it wasn't a bad feeling) and I was slightly disoriented.

Normally when a dream fades from me, it's different. Usually when my dreams lose stability my REM cycle is ending, and I will start to become intensely disoriented, and fall to the ground. Everything in my vision will smear together and fade to white. I guess since my dream lost stability for a different reason, it felt different.

I thought of what to do from my experience on the forums and the only thing I could think to do was rub my hands together. I don't even remember seeing my hands, (maybe it was because my dream was so unstable) but I did so and things improved a little. It might have lasted ten more seconds because of that. I was so happy and thought to myself 'I'm aware that I'm dreaming!' until I woke up at 3 something AM.

I thought in my head "I WILL remember this dream!" over and over, and went back to sleep.

      Sci-fi dream
I remember none of this dream but it was sci-fi in theme.

When I woke up at 8 AM, I did remember this dream, but not the lucid dream. I started thinking all about it in my head. Then I thought, 'Wait a second...' and then remembered my lucid dream earlier that night and got really excited. In my excitement I completely forgot the sci-fi dream, but who cares? I remembered my lucid dream!

Last night changed my general beliefs of dreaming in these ways:
      • Lucid dreaming isn't impossible for me!
      • People lucid dream many times before they finally remember one- as you can see here I almost forgot my "first" lucid dream.
      • The above means that dream recall might not improve your lucid dream count because of recognizing dream signs more, but simply because you remember more of your lucid dreams! (This is just an idea, and might not be true)
      • I had an idea a while ago that remembering dreams is like following a train of thought. It seems to me that recollection of dreams seems to never be put in short term memory. When I began to think about something else, I completely forgot my dream, and that might be because the dream was just something I was thinking about, not something in my memory. This could be why most people remember their dreams in the morning, but as five minutes pass you forget it. (This is just an idea, and might not be true)

    4. Dream of longing, fragments, and strange dream

Went to bed late; it was about one or so.

      Funnest card game ever dream
This dream probably came from the fact that my little brother was playing Pokémon for an hour before I went to bed.

This whole dream made me feel like I was having a lot of fun. I mean more than I've ever had in my whole life... Maybe more than what is physically possible in real life. My family was taking a vacation to Japan. Everything was awesome! The buildings were modern and cool, and everyone was too. There was a building that was the headquarters for some really popular Japanese card game. It wasn't like one using the deck that has 2-10 and a jack, queen, king, and ace; it was a game like Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh! that had many, many different kinds of cards. My brother and I and I thought we might visit it to see what it was all about. We asked my parents if we could go inside, and they said yes. We got cards and the game was the most awesome thing ever! We played it the whole vacation and were sad to leave when we had to. As we left I woke up at 3:06 in the morning.

I was convinced the game still existed for a while. I wanted to know its name and I was like "I'm going to look up Japanese card games and find this in the morning!" over and over. Slowly it dawned on me that it didn't exist and I was filled with sad longing. When I woke up this morning I searched anyway, just in case...

      Sigh...

      Fragments of school
The only moment I remember in this dream was me at school talking to my IT teacher about lucid dreaming. I said, "I'm still trying."

I feel so stupid. I didn't do a reality check.

      WTF
The only thing I remember was pressing a button over and over to make all these random cartoon-y warriors on some grey rocky shore come out of a set of stone doors and attack these cartoon attackers in the ocean with giant earthworms.

I know for sure there are many parts I missed of these dreams; I can just feel it.

I still want to play that card game again so bad... It simply gave me a feeling of utter joy and awesomeness. When I lucid dream that's my first goal, even before flying. This is all the more reason for me to lucid dream.

      Mechanical bottle dream
Something about this mechanical bottle that automatically opens and closes.

      Family and the ring dream
Fragments. I remember staying in this awful hotel, which no one else recognized was awful. I couldn't even see to the bottom of the three foot pool, it was so dirty, yet my whole family, including my cousins and aunt, played in it. I made excuses not to, of course. I remember going to places. Sometimes it was stormy, but it was always dark. I had some important ring I couldn't lose for some event. ...And I lost it in the pool.
    6. End of one dream and a clip from another

      The deafen Daniel dream
      Well... This one's odd.
Daniel Jackson and Colonel O'Neill from the show Stargate SG-1 are at their base. Daniel's sitting in a chair. O'Neill is holding a long box-shaped metal thing with a circular hole in it, except the boxes on either end are rounded. O'Neill says to him 'this might hurt a little bit,' and quickly shoots his ear with the hole in the thing really close. The sound is indescribable. It's like a cross between a gunshot and when you hit a spring. Daniel quickly covers his ears and frowns.

      The RPG dream
I remember dreaming this very same dream before.
I don't remember the beginning of this dream, but I'm playing some pixel-y game like Hummingbird Mind. (I have not played Hummingbird Mind in ages, so this whole dream didn't come from it. Besides, I had this dream long before I ever played Hummingbird Mind the first time.) The options were on the left, in small yellow text. I remember seeing valleys, rivers, waterfalls in jungles, and other scenes. Eventually I got to a chapel. I saw music stands there, and automatically I associated them in my mind with the wedding that I played for a week ago. (Yeah, I freaking thought in my head, 'hey, that looks like the wedding' and I didn't even do a reality check...) Then I looked at my list of stone powerups. There were like 40 of them, the lighter ones I had, the darker ones I didn't. There were conical stones with letters on them, skull-shaped stones, and others. Some of these you could find in-game, others you couldn't. I checked them because I was about to fight a boss. Then I went to the boss. The view turned to 3D, but it was still pixelated like pixel games. I was on a small red dragon and the boss was a HUGE red dragon. I mean really, really big. I was faster and more agile but my fire practically did nothing. I flew around him, all the while he's shooting fire that's larger than me, and I manage to make him fall out of the sky. I lad and rush over to breathe fire on him but he gets back up.
That's as far as I remember...

I'm glad I'm at least starting to remember multiple dreams per night.
    7. Fragments of several dreams

      Real life Dream Lucid
Just for me to remember, dream is color 067300 and lucid is one lighter than the deepest blue, #4169e1.

Dang. I remember at some point I woke up at 5:40-something AM and forgot to do a reality check. I think it was right before the Boy Scouts in my house dream. (It rhymes!)

      The amnesia dream
I remember having a dream before this but I don't know what it is. I've seen second or two long snapshots in my head and then I'm like, 'Oh!' and then I forget it.

Angry lizard-people on a spaceship dream
Then I had this dream... There were seven people; two groups of three and one person, me, each in one of the three rooms of a spaceship. I don't remember launch but I do remember I (er... I think I was a girl in this story) went up to the front room to talk to the pilot group, but they turned to reptile faced bad guys and hissed at me. I ran to the back, where the three in the back did the same. I sat down to talk with the bad guys in the back, and explained something important (I wish I remember what...) and while doing so got out some important object. I started to negotiate with the hostile animal people. End of my recall of the dream... But I do remember I won.

      Side note about next dream
Some time before, in the middle, or after the Boy Scouts dream this scene happens. I have seen this exact place before in other dreams. Sometimes I have dreams or parts of dreams that I just know I've had before. The whole place was cement textured. Our family van was going down a spiral ramp (think like how a parking garage slowly spirals upward/downward in a rectangle, but only 20 feet long and much steeper.) and at the end there's a left turn into like a hallway sort of thing. But the problem is, the end towards the ramp is way lower and collects LOTS of water. In other dreams, I've seen the van drive through a foot of water. It slowly tapers in depth as you get farther away from the ramp. However, in this dream all the water is frozen. So, I'm in 3rd person, listening to the people in the van talk. The finish the spiral ramp and drive perfectly fine at the ice, but everyone's concerned as they drive across the ice. Knowing my experiences with this spot from other times, I was afraid the ice would collapse. It didn't as they came back, either.

The Boy Scouts in my house dream (who love stickers)
The next dream I had was in a modified version of my house. Everyone from my troop in Boy Scouts was inside and we were all (I'm not sure if I was) getting ready for some trip. I was at the laundry, next to my stack of clothes. I gave a bunch of people stickers, and some of them refused, others didn't. Then I got out this big textured rubber sticker that had holes in it. It was like the colored lines of some figure made into a 2mm thick rubber sticker that really did feel realistic during the dream. It had some meaning that I have now forgot. The majority of the sticker was peachy pink, the rest near the center was other colors like black. I think it My dad laughed, 'Stick it on the <insert forgotten name here> !'. I reached out the window and did so, laughing. The thing was like a stone bird bath slightly curved by maybe 2 inches like a chair. So no water would ever stay in it (there wasn't any in it in the dream) because it'd all pour out the front. It was only like two feet tall, yet it was so high up I could reach it from my second floor window next to the laundry... Which never gets opened and has junk in front if it so I normally can't reach it. I guess I never noticed it was too high. The rubber sticker didn't stick, it only curled into a 'U' and stayed where it was.

      Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.
