This was a really good night! I had a lot of success.

Dream Lucid Dream

First dream takes place on a deserted beach. There are huge building as far as the eye can see, great big docks, and restaurants with flashing neon signs, all empty. A few lifeguards patrol now and then, but for the most part no one is there, except for one girl. She sits half-submerged in the water all day and night, even when the tide comes in. She is addicted to the sound of the waves. She will not leave the water.

A hurricane comes. The lifeguards are sent to go retrieve the girl so she won't drown. They drag her out of the water as she screams. She doesn't want to leave. A thousand tourists are standing there to watch and take pictures. I am there with my mother as the girl is hauled on the dock and wrapped in a towel. The storm comes closer. The water is rising and crashing dangerously, so a lot of the tourists leave, except for me and my mother. Suddenly, the girl breaks free and dives back into the water. The lifeguards ignore her. I yell to my mother "Don't let her drown!" She goes into the water and saves the girl. Then she yells at the lifeguards for not doing their job. We go into a big beach house and ride out the storm.

After that, I am walking home with my sister. There is a posh family on our route there, so rich that they have a giraffe tied up on their front lawn. I am afraid of giraffes in the dream. We go inside the house where there is a party by the skating rink. I want to get a strawberry ICEE but there is a long line. When I finally do, there is too much ice and not enough flavor. A little boy laughs at me and I spit in his cup.

I wake up and decide to try becoming lucid. I focus on lucid dreaming and what I want to do. Then I fall back asleep. I realize I am still lucid! Hurrah! I am on the edge of sleep so I make sure to anchor myself and then I try to make a portal. I want to go into outer space! I circle my finger in the air and silver sparks start to swirl. Then I jump into the portal and find myself floating in space, but I can breathe just fine. I land on a dry, cratered moon/planet/asteroid thing. There is a group of people fighting vicious monsters. I know the monsters aren't real, so I go up to a DC and ask "Can I fight with you guys?" He says "Sure." I go into a trench and he hands me what looks like balls of clay. "Here you go...Pyromancy, Aeromancy, etc." I throw the red ball at a lizardy thing, and he bursts into flame. I try the purple one on a different creature and he disintegrates! I think it's super cool, so I keep throwing. Finally all the monsters are dead and all the people go into a bar. I order a drink but as soon as I take my first sip i wake up again.

I fall back asleep, STILL LUCID! Only problem is, now I'm in a dentist's office. I try to make the portal again but it doesn't work.I say "This is a dream, I can do whatever I want," and try again. Still nothing. My mom appears. "Come on, we have to get to the airport!" she yells. I go with her. "You're a DC aren't you?" She shakes her head. 'I don't know what you mean." I poke her on the arm. "Guess what? I'm dreaming." She says "Yeah right." I just laugh and say "Whatever DC." My dad and sis arrive and we are running towards the door. Also a family friend is with us, pushing a stroller. "Can you push?" she asks me. "I want to get out of here," I say, but i grab the stroller anyway. While pushing I try the portal thing again and fail. The stroller runs into the wall. "My baby!" the DC yells. I say "Relax, it's just a dream. You're not real, you know that, right?" She screams and disappears. I wake up for real.

I'm beginning to see a pattern in my dreams. There's always the girl in the ocean or in some type of water. Also my sister crops up a lot. This dream is about 4 days old but I think there might be a lot of significance to it.
