The first dream i had i was a monk. i wasn't able to write it down until i got to work so it might be a bit fuzzy. There is also something i would like to discuss at the end. I was some kind of monk staying at a monastery. The Monastery was pretty low key, just a standard temple. However, there was a giant statue of Buddha in the middle of our monastery. The statue had to have been as tall as a skyscraper. The inside of the statue was hollow though, and it was a maze of caves, with hardly an light. Myself and two other monks thought it would be a good idea to explore the caves. We went inside for a bit and got lost. I ended up getting separated from them, but managed to find my way out. When i got out, there was two men in suites talking to the Abbot near the base of the statue. The Abbot was listening intently to what the men where saying...something about me joining them. I remember being upset by this, i did not want to leave the monastery, but i didn't say anything about it because i was too focused on telling the Abbot what had happened. I ran to the abott and told him what happened. I was expecting him to be very upset, and get angry with me, but he just smiled softly and said, "i suppose we should go find them hmm." The abbot and myself began running up the walkway to get into the Buddha with the two men in suites following us.I was not able to keep up with the Abbot and eventually lost him. The two men in suites also seemed to have disappeared. I remembered my monk training and remained calm and didn't freak out that i was lost and alone. The caves where very dark, and i couldn't really see, but i remained calm. I eventually saw some natural light, so instinctively i headed towards it. It had turned out to be a small room (or as much of a room as it could be considering it was a cave) with a small opening. The opening was just big enough for my arm to fit through, so i stuck it through and waved it around for a bit hoping somebody would see it and be able to help me. After a minute of silly flailing i removed my arm from the hole and instead put my eye up to. I peered out and realize i was too high up and that no one would even notice me. (the people where like Ants). I the decided to sit down and try to figure something out based on all the knowledge i had gained from the hole. I had figured that i was probably in Buddha's ear, so i should head downwards to try and get out, as that seemed logical. I sat for a little more, just resting with no thoughts in particular. I awoke while sitting there. Now, the thing i wanted t odiscuss is that this dream has alot of similarities to other dreams. Yet again, dreams are either showing continuity in either story lines, or the same things happen in different ways. For example, in this dream i enter a dark cave and cannot keep up with the "leader". That happened in a nightmare that you can read somewhere below. Second, the men in suites trying to recruit me. I had a dream the other night (i didn't write it down because i was being lazy) that a man came to my apartment and tried to recruit me. I had at first accepted, but when i found out what he wanted me to do i refused and ran away from him. After i fled him i had run back to my apartment and it was burned down. Some other stuff happened in the dream but i ended up going to a superhero squad (yeah, lol) for help. As i was on my way out the door, one of the superhero's looked to me and said, "hey, you know-" but before he could finish i said "thanks but no thanks. i already have more than enough offers of people wanting me to join them." I think it was important because not only does it show that i was paying attention to what had happened earlier in the dream, but it also goes back to my other dream where a cop tries to recruit me. This would be the 3rd dream in almost 3 straight days where i am being recruited. I'm not sure what this person/things wants, but i believe it is not good and it has to stop invading my dreams... For the next dream, it was actually quite warming and comforting, and very mellow. It was winter time on a lake. The lake was large, surrounded soft shorlines that led into woods or shorelines that broke off into valley. The lake was half frozen and the surrounding land was covered in snow. The dream started off with me viewing a small group of animals swimming towards the shore. I was not actually looking with my own eyes, it was like watching a documentary. It was an assortment of animals. Ranging from cats, pigs, turtles and other random assorted creatures. Then, i finally "spawned" in the dream (and i was viewing it from my own eyes thankfully.) I was standing where the animals had come ashore and scattered off. They where long gone by the time i spawned and their footprints where pretty much faded. However, there was a small cat left there crying. I petted and comforted the cat and it stopped crying. It began snowing, so i started making a shelter. What happened next was a sort of time line, if you will. images of me playing with the cat through the seasons, the cat getting bigger and older, and myself as well. The shelter growing fro ma simple shack into a full blow log cabin, growing in complexity. The cat and i where best friends. the dream ended with the cat and i sitting lazily atop hill off to the west of the lake, on a warm sunny day.... Looking back at the dream, i realized the cat was orange, the same color as my old friend "kitty". It's strange, because i met kitty in an extremely similar fashion. I had found kitty in a graveyard, jsut a little kitten, alone scared and sad. I brought kitty back with me to my house, and kept him on my stomach for hours jsut petting him and telling him it was okay. Eventualyl he stopped shaking and crying and curled up and slept. Since then, kitty was my best friend. He grew up with me jsut as i did, and he only ever answered to me. He would cry at my door until i let him in. He would always cuddle on my lap when i watched tv, no matter how big he got. (he got pretty big at the end of his life). If he was across the yard playing, i would only have to call him once and he would come sprinting full force to my side. Kitty was the beset cat, and even better friend. I like to think that dream was Kitty just paying me a visit, and reminding me of some of the good times, and the important things in life. This last dream isn't really a dream. It's a false awakening, but i thought it was really funny so i wanted to share it. I get to work extremely early, (like an hour, sometimes earlier than that) and considering the over time is not allowed right now, i had nothing to do so i decided to take a nap in the conference room.. I had a false awakening where i woke up in the conference room, but i was late because it was the buzzer that woke me up. For some reason, in this dream i had 3 large boxes of pennies and dimes. I had jumped up at the sound of the buzzer and knocked the boxes all over the floor. I began scrambling, trying to pick them up, so i could clock in on time. While picking them up, i thought to myself "Wait, why the hell do i have all these coins and why did i bring them to work?" I then woke up for real in the conference room....10 minutes before the buzzer It was kinda dis-orientating....
