I never really have scary dreams (that I can remember)...

I was reading a book (Sepulchre by Kate Mosse), and at 6:30pm my eyes started closing and it became a large effort to keep them open, so I decided to have a nap. I awoke at 8:25pm when my sister brought my laptop to my bedroom for me. I remember my dream immediately; thought it was a very detailed dream with multiple attempts at my life, but I remember 1uite a bit. And since my sister had woke me up with my laptop, I decided it would be good to write it here.

In the dream, instead of moving into the house that myself and my university friends are living in next year, we bought a caravan and decided to travel through America (I myself have been once to America and LOVED it there, and would love to live there). We had planned to stay in multiple motels, and some houses too along the way. While traveling, I recall in the beginning having trouble to recline my seat to sleep. At this point I turned around to realize that there were 9 seats, but only 5 people. I thought it strange to buy one so large on a students budget, but I didn't realize I was dreaming.

It was also strange that the counted 5 people, as I can picture the scene now in my head and I can count 7 (which is the actual amount of people I am living with). I can't even really remember where people were sitting or anyone specifically, except I remember looking over to see Blake driving. I also remember saying that I wish I could pass my driving test so that I could help with the driving. We arrived at the first house we were staying at soon after. I was laying in a bed, and for some reason the were many people I didn't know there, but I acted like I did know them. One just appeared in my room and I was like DAMN YOU JUST APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE.

I think it was at this point that I woke up withing the dream, lying in my bed, believing myself awake. I was relieved, since obviously dreams feel real when you are in them, and I was pleased that me and my friends had not abandoned university to go travelling. I then 'went back to sleep' to the same dream.

This time, we were in a motel. It was a complicated path to my room from the lobby including many bouncers. While I was there I noticed many American men looking at me, flirting and making small talk. I commented to my friend "why do american guys like me so much". Their communications began to get more aggressive and scary towards me. The me trying to kill me were even getting past the bouncers, I remember being concerned about that. The dream contained a lot of things happening around this point which I forget the details of. In one of the more violent confrontations I had, I lost my phone. I was a lot more afraid of this than the confrontation. I cried at my friend, telling her I had lost my phone, although in the dream I had 2 phones; a blackberry (which is what I have in real life) and i think a samsung galaxy mini (which my sister has). It was the samsung that was lost.

Anyway, in the dream conclusion, I was in the motels large bathroom. A man that had been chasing me for a while was in the stalls, and emerged with a sinister smile on his fact. He was holding what looked like a long hollow metal tube with a point at one end. I pulled out my blackberry quickly to dial 999. In real life, I am having phone troubles due to my trackpad freezing. This happened momentarily, but I was soon able to punch in the number. I then realized since I was in america, 911 would be more appropriate so I called that instead. The operator spoke and I told her repeatedly that "I'm in a motel in California; please, he's killing me." (obviously only the 'he's killing me' part after he had stabbed me) but I could not remember the name or specific location. I was irritated because I had felt that the information was on the tip of my mind, but I could quite reach it.
Since I was an English tourist, the man had not expected me to dial 911, so her came towards me angrily when he realized. He stabbed me with the pole many times. Enough to kill someone, but for some reason, either I died and came back to life, or I did not die.

I'm not sure if I just appeared home after that, or some other stuff happened and I got home, but somehow I did. My sister was there when I arrived, and she said "A man called me off your phone. He told me he was stabbing you in the face."

So that's it. I never have scary dreams so this is rare for me. Wonder if it means anything! Seriously, can't beleive I didn't become lucid, especially after that little "dream awakening" I had.
