    I wonder how many, if any, people on here pretend to have lucid dreams and be in control but are only putting up a fake facad...

    Example: I claim to have joined because of this website, which I know I did, but actually I never really stopped to think about whether or not my goal was supposed to be this website...

    Just curious because I can put up some fairly complex visions on this website and nobody but me really knows the truth.

    THE KEY POINT...that I am trying to make here is do not pretend like you have lucid dreams or you are in complete control...be truthful to yourself and you never have to lie, cheat, or steal.

      There is no point in lying about that, because you certainly don't benefit from that. What good would it do if you say that you have 5 lucids everyday, when in fact you are struggling to get a couple in a month? You only make the situation more miserable and pathetic.
      On the other hand though, if by persuading everyone around that you are lucid pro, you eventually start to believe that too, that will help for sure - lucid dreaming is all about motivation, belief and confidence...
      But yeah, don't do that people!

      Agreed. I look at the lucid count of people. There are other things I look at too. I mean, I just can't read journals where dreams are all in light blue with no paragraphing. I don't think about it too much though. I just gravitate to people with good dreams and good ideas.

      Ohh thats a good point Rman...

      People if you plan to do a long dream journal then use good paragraphing...I will make this same post without any "ENTER" spaces right below this comment to show you what I mean.

      Tell me which one of these comments you like better by posting more commentary regarding them...I will have to make a DJ sometime regarding good paragraphing and make sure to "teach" people how to do better paragraphing...or you can since it was your idea Rman.. but I like the idea.

      Fakers gonna fake, haters gonna hate! Lucid dreaming is for yourself, and yourself alone. Sharing the experiences is great for motivation and talking about it helps getting lucid, but people who lie about what they've done are despicable. Keep it real, keep on dreaming!
