I'm at an amateur skateboarding competition with a friend of mine. We, along with what seems like a hundred other skaters, enter a large flat area lined with quarter pipes. All the participants stand on top of the ramps facing the center, where several people in charge are introducing the event. They begin to pass the microphone around and each person is urged to say something.

Several people babble about nothing, but I remember thinking they sounded cool. I worried about how I would come off. My companion was passed the microphone and, in my opinion, made a solid impression on the crowd. The microphone was then handed to someone else. Then to me. I said in a sarcastically monotonous voice, "Fuck the police, comin' straight from the underground. Young negro got it bad cause I'm brown." Most of the crowd thought it was pretty funny. I looked around to make sure I didn't upset anyone and passed the microphone on.

This is the last I remember of this portion of the dream. To the best of my knowledge, it preceded the following dream.

    2. Weather Balloon

This dream may or may not have occurred after the previous dream, but it was definitely a dream from last night. I find myself in a neighborhood I'm not completely familiar with. Possible the neighborhood of one of the two people I was with. We had heard there were weather warnings in the area and decided to go out to see what there was to see. I was with my girlfriend and a close friend of mine. I don't remember faces, but I remember the feelings.

We decide the best way to get a look at what was happening would be to take up a makeshift hot air balloon which was in the yard of the house we were standing in front of. The hot air balloon takes off with all three of us securely on board. This hot air balloon was not ordinary. It seemed to be fashioned together as a parachute like section attached to a large block of wood. My two companions stood on the wood while I held on tightly to the rope that was holding the two pieces together.

The wind was so strong, it took us above the clouds to a point that no longer felt safe or fun. I motioned to my girlfriend that I was scared and wanted to board the platform with her, but I knew there wasn't enough room. I held on tightly. We could see what the weather reports were saying. There were several tornadoes in the distance which, at the time, seemed more awe-inspiring than frightening. We floated above the clouds for a good twenty minutes until we hit a pocket of air which allowed us to slowly sink towards the ground.

When we burst through the cloud covering we saw that were were falling towards a large body of water, something of a channel for large boats to pass through. There was actually a boat there which appeared to be covering the surface of the water with crude oil. It was to our understanding that it was to prevent the storms from developing even further. We landed close enough to the edge of the channel that we were able grab onto the ledge and climb onto dry land, without even getting wet. This is the last significant thing I remember.

    3. Lucid in the Hood

The dream takes place in a familiar neighborhood. Maybe a reflection of my hometown. Maybe the current city I'm living in. I cannot say for sure. I'm riding in the car with a friend and his sister. Their relationships to me and each other are not concrete and it seems that at certain times during the dream, they assume different roles.

We're riding to nowhere in particular as recklessly as possible. It is exciting at first until the driver starts to run stop signs and red lights and make dangerous turns. I warn him that we were just spotted by a cop and are definitely going to get pulled over. He kicks it into overdrive and I struggle for my seat belt. We make every maneuver possible to evade the cops, pulling a full 180 degree skid. At this point we've lost them and proudly head back home as though we had accomplished our goal for the day.

It feels at though the police are still on our trail. We get out the car, but I notice a squad car speeding down the road from our left. It took me a split second to decide I wanted to create a ramp for him fly off of. It was at this point I realized I was dreaming. I thought hard about what I wanted to create and then quickly turned my head to the right and pointed my finger. A spine ramp was sitting, basking in all its glory, directly where I was pointing my fingers.

At this point, however, the police are no longer a threat and have completely removed themselves from the dream. To be sure I'm dreaming, I perform a quick nose plug reality check. I'm dreaming! In an attempt to solidify myself in the dream, I look around for something to heighten my sensory input. I walk up to a shopping cart sitting in the middle of the road and feeling the heat from the sun on the metal. I had read of someone on the forums licking a brick wall to solidify him/herself in the dream, so I proceeded to lick the handle of the shopping cart. It tasted metallic. I remember my tongue sticking to it briefly. I look around and attempt to take everything in, but I get too excited and the dream fades out.

I'm lying in bed with my eyes still closed. I remember someone on the forums mentioning fading from a lucid dream into sleep paralysis. And though I did not realize it at the time, I feel as though I may have experienced a similar phenomenon if only for a short time. Eventually I became suspicious and questioned reality, plugging my nose. I could breath, but it felt too real. So I sat up, everything still dark, and tried again. Indeed I was dreaming. I lifted the covers off over my head found myself in an extremely distorted, surreal version of my room. I was unable to move effectively. I woke up.

    4. College in the 18th Century

I dreamt I'm visiting a foreign town far away. I vaguely remember driving up with a friend or two, though I'm not sure exactly who. When we arrive I learn that there is a strict curfew rule enforced by the "adults" who all appear to be scholarly women and men with 18th century facial hair styles and demeanor. They ring a bell and promptly close the doors shutting everyone inside.

One night, a friend and myself decided we had better plans for the night and, instead of going inside when the bell tolls, pose as "adults" and walk the streets. We wander the town to the outskirts search for a gas station where I have a run in with a man who knows me not to be an "adult." He makes passive threats to me, asking if I can run to a building in the distance faster than him in a less-than benevolent tone. I'm frightened, but pass it off and continue walking.

My companion has now assumed the spirit of my girlfriend in real life. At one point I remember holding hands. She has visited the town many times before and maybe even had lived here in here childhood for many years. She points out a bed of cushion and tarp which, she says, is used for dancing on. At that moment, I living severed head walking on crunches comes over the to tarp and begins to dance for us. Afterward, we're greeted by a man who is giving "free" things in return for our mailing address. He offers us an Xbox 360, but I tell him I'd rather fill out the one for free chicken wings. My girlfriend ends up filling both of them out.

Next, we're back in the town center were we first started. The place now reminds me of a college campus than it does a small town. The bell rings again, signaling the beginning of curfew. As the "adults" are ringing the bell a woman in man-made wings, designed to look like a butterfly wing and a sparrow wing, flaps her way to the top of the building. She perches and then takes off through the roof like it isn't there. Her wings are exceedingly more vibrant and magnificent on the other side. I soon realize it is merely a trick caused by the reflection of the water.

I wake in a bedroom very reminiscent of my bedroom back home. It's now unclear to me when exactly I became lucid because I fell back asleep shortly after awaking, clouding some of the detail. I do remember it to be a snap of realization. I am in the room with somewhere between two to four figures; the dream would fade in and out (without me ever fully waking up) but the setting would change slightly upon fading in. One of the characters was a young child, daughter of an middle-aged man who I recall to be a famous actor in real life. A third character was a motherly figure, who I also remember being a famous female actor in real life.

The fourth and most constant figure was a beautiful young blond woman, probably no older than 23. She had vibrant dirty blond hair and large crystalline green eyes. She was absolutely stunning. I vaguely recall thinking of her as a famous actor as well or maybe and image of a woman I'd seen browsing the internet before. I walked toward her, grabbed her hand, smiled, and imagined her with her clothes off. We proceeded to have incredible sex with me in a sitting position and her riding me. I remember thinking how I may be looking in real life, masturbating while sleeping. I couldn't care any less ; D

When I was done (I never fully finished) the dream began to fade. I remember grabbing her hand and holding it in front of my face next to my hands in order to focus. To my surprise and excitement, it actually stabilized the dream quite a bit. I decided I wanted to be free from this confining environment, so I attempted to open a window. After an unusual amount of effort I was able to get the window open and squeeze myself through it. I jumped and tried to fly, but I just glided to the ground. My disappointment was completely forgotten when I peered toward the distance to see a clustered ribbon of stars in the sky above. It was magnificent.

I made another attempt to fly, but to no avail. So I started off toward my right where I found a large grouping of dream characters wander around aimlessly around a large cul-de-sac. I decided to attempt the lucid task of the month by becoming a giant and squashing dream characters. Unfortunately, this proved to require more than the dream control I had harnessed at this point. The dream broke away.

If anyone has any idea who this mysterious green eyed woman might be, I would love to hear from you. Post links, pictures, or names in the comments section of famous actors or simply images that fit my description. If you post the woman I'm looking for, I promise to handsomely reward you with Community Hall points!
