German invasion stopped by the birds

Most of the town is gathered in the town hall (in this dream it's more of a large, one story tree building with two rooms), preparing for what we've heard on the news: Germany is invading Norway, starting right here in my home town!

Me and my dad are in sort of a leading position, advisors to the mayor. We try to keep people calm, but they're very afraid of what the germans will do. In the back room, people are even more hectic. "Where are the birds? They should've been here by now, I really hope they'll be here in time," says the mayor in a worried tone. I tell him that the birds are reliable. With the help of 100 birds, we will be able to defeat the germans.

People in the front room are screaming, and we can now see the germans coming down the hills in their tanks. At least 5 tanks. Dammit, we're as good as dead... A German leader goes out of one of the tanks and tells us through a megafone (in perfect English): "You might as well give up and accept defeat. You're surrounded!". All hope seems to have gone. There's too many of them, and the birds haven't shown.

But then! I hear noises from the back room, where dozens of white pigeons can be seen as they flow in to the room, as our desperately needed backup. They do not talk, after all they're just birds. But they seem to know very well what has to be done: attack the germans. We all feel very much safer and better now. We attack them, with the birds using their claws and wings to confuse the germans. They fly into the tanks and make them loose control. We're winning! I'm still on the inside of the building, no need for me to even get involved.

The germans are not very dangerous anymore, and right outside the window closest to me I can see a female reporter with a film camera. She puts his camera into an opening in a german tank. "What is she doing," I ask a girl next to me. "She's making fun of them, and they can't even shoot her," the girl replies. We have a good laugh at the silly germans, who thought they could invade us. Didn't they know we had the birds on our side?
