Can you follow verbal commands while asleep.

I was wondering if I wanted to dream about something like that I was flying could I just set an alarm that while I was asleep it would say "you are flying. you are flying," and I would start dreaming about it? Would I be able to understand complex instructions like "you are in the jungle and flying," or would I not be able to force any dream at all with an audio recording even with lots of practice? Thank you for your answer!

I think that this could technically work, but it would be real hard to do... You would have to set it so it doesn't wake you up, and so that it activates during REM sleep...etc
You can try though it would be cool if it worked
