Non-Dream Dream

Dream 1:

I am at a fancy dinner or wedding with my wife. The food and service sucks but I still leave a huge tip.

Dream 2:

I am in lab with TA and DM working on new methods. DM has a primitive dilution machine. We put concentrated sample in A1 of a 96-well plate and the machine serial diluted the sample into all of the other wells. MM is also there and it is the morning of the layoffs. I left my blot at room temp on the shaker overnight by mistake. I am interviewing for jobs remotely. DM has some of his friends vouch for me - one of them in Jonathan Schoop from the Orioles.

Dream 3:

I am watching a baseball game. Trout hits a lazy fly ball to right field. The right fielder goes back to the wall, times his jump well but still drops the ball. Trout wasn't running hard but gets a triple out of it.

Dream 4:

I am watching a commercial on tv. There is a guy driving a Prius. You think he is very good for the environment. He pulls over to the side of the road and takes out a big hose and puts it in the sewer. He dumps all of the crap he used to do into the sewer. Clouds gather and a corvette explodes out from the hose. Not sure why but this was hilarious in my dream and right when I woke up.

Dream 5:

I am taking a cat to see a doctor. I go through an old, run down building with lots of bums. There is fire/lava around. I get to the room with the doctor at the end of the hallway. It is a very large and dark room with an uncomfortable table in the middle. The doctor is Einstein. (I think he shows me the commercial I describe in dream 4) There is a screen above the table showing streaming stock tickers and prices. DOW is up and EBAY is down for the day. I have a very strong bond with the cat. She (the cat is female) is getting molars pulled. After getting them pulled she says that her leg hurts now. I fear for the cats life because I have realized that I love her deeply. I look at her leg and am relieved to find that it is just a growth. I communicate to the cat that everything will be ok and I was shocked when the cat understood me and communicated back somehow. The cat now turns into a beautiful woman who I have apparently always been in love with (in past lives too). The feeling of love is indescribable. The woman looks like a girl I knew from way back named Emily. We go outside of the doctors room onto a dock next to a huge lake. I playfully push her into the water and jump in after her. We hug for what seems like an eternity.

Non-Dream Dream Lucid

Dream 1:

I am at a Target store buying gear for a home run derby. I have a bat and a Mike Trout ball that is oddly shaped. Trout is there too. Now I am at the home run derby in the stands. The crowd has to pay per pitch. Therefore the popular / well-liked players get more pitches because the crowd is willing to pay.

Dream 2:

I am at a restaurant with my friend/coworker GM. I am teaching him how to play a video game and the subject of lucid dreaming comes up. I become lucid. Not too sure how it happened - I guess the just talking about it made me become aware. I tell GM about all of the different things that I like to do when I am lucid like flying and eating. I cook some hamburgers and we both eat one - it tastes amazing. I am bored so I decide to trash the back of the restaurant where the cooks are. After this I go outside and decide to do something constructive with my lucid opportunity. There is nobody outside of the restaurant - which now looks like one of the outside eating areas at UCLA (above the bookstore). I yell out "why am I so anxious all the time." No answer and nothing happens. Then I yell out "show me something I am afraid of" so maybe I can conquer some of my fears. Still nothing so I yell it out again. Suddenly a man appears from behind one of the buildings and walks toward me aggressively. I know he wants to fight me. Apparently I am afraid of confrontations. He starts punching and kicking and I block all of it. Not just normal blocks though - I actually catch his fists and feet with my hands. Then I proceed to thoroughly kick his ass.

After the ass beating I do my favorite lucid activity - flying. I fly over the football field at UCLA. There are people playing so I join the game. I make several great catches while flying and I shout out that I am the greatest football player ever at UCLA.

Dream 3:

I am having amazing sex with a very petite woman. At times during the sex I can see us from 3rd person view.

Spoiler for Sex details:

We are having sex with me standing and holding her by her ass. She is riding me for about 5 minutes. Just as I am about to cum, I pull out and spray allover her face and in her mouth. I feel like I am finished ejaculating and I put my dick in her mouth. Apparently I am not done and I keep going in her mouth. It starts pouring out and covers her entire body. Once I am finished we start making out like crazy.

I stay the night and we have sex again the following morning in the shower. We head out to the backyard to do some gardening and I think her parents are there with us. It is very awkward. I am trying to stake some pepper plants but I am out of string / tape. I try to find an Ace or Home Depot store driving through the Culver City / Inglewood area on Sepulveda. The area looks like one giant mall towering over the street. I step into a Home Depot store and find the string - the store is very ghetto. I go to the outside section of the store and find myself in the army doing drills.

Recall is a little better this morning - hopefully I'll be lucid again soon!

Dream 1: The city is falling apart and the ground is opening up to reveal fire down below. It has a video game feeling. That is all I remember.

Dream 2: I am having a pool party and I am a goalie in a water polo game. I also steal a fence from a neighbor.

Dream 3:

My friend AG invites me to a crossfit-like gym that looks kind of like a large warehouse inside. My wife is with me and is hesitant to participate because there is a very large crowd there. I am walking past my wife, about to do my first exercise, and I notice that one of her nipples is showing. I motion to her to cover it up. A fat woman next to me also notices the nipple and starts to make fun of my wife. I start talking back to the woman, defending my wife, and I notice that the fat woman's nipple is also showing. Then the workouts begin. The first couple of exercises involve jumping over a very high fence and using a jump rope that has a heavy block in the middle of the rope.

After a couple of exercises everyone make a large circle and a beautiful, muscular young woman walks out into the middle of the circle. She is supposed to fight someone who is not there. I volunteer to fight in his place. The game / fight consists of her trying to get me down on the floor any way possible and there is a time limit. After her time is up I try to get her down on the floor. She tries everything to try and get me down on the floor. She even picks me up off of the ground but I always somehow precisely counterbalance her movements and she is unable to throw me down. It is now my turn and I do a gentle leg sweep and slowly lower her to the floor. She is extremely frustrated and angry at how easy it was for me to win. She gets up and attacks me with some kind of jump kick. I catch her legs mid-air and pull her forcefully into my waist. At this moment we are both very turned on and emotional (love). She wants me to communicate with her through my heart (literally with my heart, no speaking). I express through my heart that I have very strong feelings for her and that I very much want to be with her but I am married.

Dream 1:

I am in a restaurant on a cruise ship. Each table has its own tv but the remotes work on random tv sets. I keep changing peoples channel.

Dream 2:

My wife and I are at a cabin in the woods. We go outside to take a walk. We get deep into the forest and I spot a bunch of gun lockers. Upon inspection they are full of not only guns, but fresh meat (hanging deer carcasses). This is very unsettling. It feels like we have been hiding and running from something for a long time and this is an ominous sign that they have found us again. There is nobody around and no sounds whatsoever. I test one of the guns in the locker and it is loaded.

We head back to the cabin and weird shit starts happening. People and images start popping up randomly. We had spotted a large structure out in the woods when we were walking earlier so we decide to go check it out and see if it has supplies. We get to the building and I tell my wife to wait outside while I look around. I go down some stairs into a dark room. There are more lockers here fully stocked with supplies and weapons. I begin gathering supplies but then I start hearing frightening noises coming from down the hall - like someone is being tortured. The more stuff I take the louder the noises get and the scary images start appearing again.

I get a very strong sense that the evil that is present in this building is closing in on me. I am very scared so I just grab a random box of guns and ammo and leave. On the way up the stairs I finally spot someone off to my left. There is a man at a work bench confused and banging things randomly. He doesn't seem to notice me. It hits me that these things (not quite human) aren't sure what their purpose is on earth although I know it is only a matter of time before they realize they are supposed to kill us.

I get outside and some cops are running into the building. They are not quite human either. I yell to them "he is down there and he is crazy" so they go after the guy by the stairs. Since they are also confused I am trying to convince them that I am not the target. I get back to my wife who has no idea what is going on and we start walking back. This is when we notice that there are hundreds of half dead humans (kind of like zombies) scattered around the forest - just standing there. We walk quickly through them to get back to the house. Some of them start attacking us but I fight them off.

We get back to the house and lock up. They arrive at our door and we arm ourselves. We hold them off for a while but one of them eventually gets in. A lot of glass is breaking. I get away briefly but I think I get caught eventually.

This is the first time I have woken up from a dream truly scared in about 20 years.

Non-dream Dream

I am in a world sort of like the Hunger Games except instead of having to fight to the death we are all forced into a swimming competition. I am undergoing intense swimming training and competition in brutal conditions. There are dead bodies and blood in the water. I meet a cute black girl during training and we fall in love. I comfort her and help her through the brutality. The judges begin to fall in love with us. We both win the competition against all odds and we give speeches to each other at the ceremony in front of the whole world. Everyone loves us and we have our first kiss in front of everyone. At the end we go our separate ways. I have her phone number. I desperately want to text her to just have lunch or something - to have a chance at a life together. I hesitate because I notice my wedding ring on my hand then I wake up.

This was truly an epic dream and I recalled it in great detail every time I woke up throughout the night. I chose to enjoy it and try to continue it (which I did) every time I woke up instead of writing notes down. Therefore I forgot most of the details but I woke up with strong feelings of true love. Very powerful.

Dream 1:

I am in Vegas with my friend VP and his wife. VP asks a bartender at one of the casinos how much it typically costs to go out in Vegas for one night. The bartender says at least $200 for a good time. VP only has $30 so he decides to spend the whole time in the hotel room. I go with them up to the room. VP's wife insists on taking this elevator that I really don't want to take. The elevator shoots us up the outside wall of the hotel (we can see outside) and up to the roof. I feel like we are going way too fast and there is no way we can stop. I feel like we are going to die. We somehow go over the roof and end up in the room. VP and his wife want beer and I find some Bud Light in the fridge. I am pissed because I forgot my earplugs but then I find them. I keep begging them to come out and gamble with me but they refuse.

Dream 2:

I am with my wife, my friend JW and his wife and we are on some kind of floating ride - kind of like a hot air balloon but we are flying lower. We pass by a garden (which I think is my garden) with some beautiful tomato plants. Next we are all sleeping in a large room with a bunch of friends and they tell me I am snoring just a little bit.

Dream 3:

I am riding a bicycle towards a hike I want to do. It is a "neighborhood hike" in Anaheim Hills - I believe close to Toyon Park. I am still on my bike and I am on a narrow trail with a lot of puddles. It is a crystal clear day and a crisp morning. I look off to the right of the trail, expecting to see houses like I usually do, but I see the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. There is lush greenery, tons of trees, and a beautiful, pristine alpine lake - the most stunning shade of blue I have ever seen. I want to stop and take a picture of it but I want to get to the trail head.

Dream 1

I am hiking in Joshua Tree National Park with my wife and a group of about 15 people. I see a large, orange, striped tiger that looks exactly like a Bengal tiger cross the trail up ahead. We call it a bobcat since they are native to this region even though it is clearly a tiger. We all consider ourselves to be extremely lucky to spot one of these creatures in the wild. Then all of a sudden the bobcat circles around behind us and starts fake attacking. It continues to circle us for a while. My wife ways something in another language and I ask her to translate (I don’t remember what she says). Next someone from the group asks “Is this really happening?” I wish a professional was in our group to tell us how to respond to an aggressive tiger.

Next we are all in my house – specifically the kitchen. The bobcat keeps circling us and we begin to yell at it and start slapping its back to try and scare it away. Finally the bobcat tries to get out of the house but the sliding door is closed. We open it and the bobcat goes out into the back yard. I notice that my cat, V, is out by the pool and I think to myself “Oh it’s gonna be so cool to see how V interacts with the bobcat!” V meowed and the bobcat sees him. At that moment I realize what is going to happen and I am flooded with sorrow and anger (at myself for letting this happen). The bobcat grabs V in his mouth in a flash and carries him over the fence. The whole way out of the yard V’s eyes are locked with mine. I drop to my knees, head in hands, and start crying. A huge wave of emotions and thoughts come over me – it is my fault, the one thing that unconditionally loves me is dead because of me, etc.

I wake up with the song “Karma Police” by radio head stuck in my head (this is what you get…).

Dream 2:

My next door neighbors get a new front lawn installed.

Dream 3:

I am at a pool with my wife and we have two kids. I ask some guy for something - I think he is in a phone booth and I ask him for money.

Non-dream Dream

Dream 1:

I am at work and I step into my bosses office. He asks me to present on something that I'm not too familiar with and he only gives me 6 hours to prepare. It was basically like "Oh by the way I want you to present this later today." He made the slides for me but I was so busy all day I didn't get a chance to review them. I am basically going up there blind. I recall following my boss on my motorcycle to get to the presentation. There are not too many people at the presentation but it is a huge auditorium - it almost looks like a church. All I remember is watching myself give the talk from the seats and I was TANKING the presentation. Nobody cared though.

Dream 2:

I am in the hunger games (again) with my wife - this time it is in a city. There are 24 contestants like usual but we are among the general population. My wife and I form a pact with some other contestants so we would have a chance against the careers. But when the strongest career approaches us our "friends" back out and run. The career chases my wife and I. I get her to safety and the career chases me to the beach. I manage to cut his arms off (SOMEHOW) and I drown him in the ocean. I really want to make sure he is dead and will not come back to get me so I start carrying his body. I carry his body back to the restaurant where some other contestants (including our "friends") are eating. I drop him on their table. Then I grab my wife and set out to live alone with her. We set up camp on a hillside. It turned out to be a poor location - in hindsight I believe we were on a golf course. We wanted to be secluded. I begin to teach her how to hunt, fight, etc... until the army spots us. They inform us that the hunger games are over. Some Asian army guy is laughing at me for some reason. I tell him and everyone else to shut the fuck up - they all listened to me because at this point I was kind of a legend. He said something about being tough and I replied "have you ever been the last one standing in a battle to the death against 24 people?" That shut him up.

Notes:
For some reason during the hunger games I was forced to try and kill my cat V. I tried twisting his neck to break it but I wasn't able to kill him (physically). Also, my wife wouldn't listen to me and almost got us killed numerous times. I think she was just really scared.

Non-dream Dream

Dream 1:

It is before my wedding and I am at my old job at the university. My boss and other faculty members force me to prove my worth by presenting my thesis in a couple of days. I say that I have too much going on in my life. One professor tells me that I am really good but I never see anything through to completion. I agree and begin crying. I did not prep for the presentation and I winged it (I don't recall how it went). The night before I partied and trashed the lab.

Dream 2:

I am helping administer chemotherapy to a friend in a dirty bathroom. I would wash my hands, mix the drugs, spin them down, then administer them.

It was as if I new the drug would work but it was not yet approved - I was giving it on the down low.

Non-Dream Dream Lucid Dream

Dream 1:

I am in lab and I want to take a look at my coworker's (NG) cells under the microscope. She begs me not to look because they are precious but I promise it will be OK. For some reason I put the plate of cells under the sink instead of the microscope and I fill the plate with water - ruining her experiment. I lie to her and say that some new girl bumped me while I was looking under the microscope and that caused water to get into the plate. She gets really mad then turns into a hideous woman who tells me I'm hot.

Dream 2:

I make a trek to Mexico on a motorcycle with my lab mates.

Dream 3:

I meet a beautiful Asian girl on some crazy packed campus - probably UCLA. It might have been a festival. I am playing some weird basketball game in waste deep water - I think this is where we meet. It was love at first sight. She immediately trusts me so much that she gets into my car to drive her to her house. I am driving an automatic black Honda. We park somewhere that resembles a desert and take a very difficult path to her house. I have to climb an almost vertical dirt wall. She had no problem but for some reason I had trouble doing a pull-up. We are worried about rattlesnakes. I crack a few jokes about getting bit in the face (smooth).

We get to her house and start playing video games. One game is a betting game where we bet on whether or not we can complete a maze. Other games were virtual reality. We fall in love but I know that my wife is back at home. I mention something about sex and she tells me she can't or something. I say I know and neither can I. She tells me that she would be content with sleeping on my feet / cuddling like really good friends. This makes me extremely happy - true love.

Dream 4:

I am watching a strange baseball game from the stands. My team (USA I believe) is losing by about 25 runs. Players can choose whether they want to hit baseballs or giant credit cards. The cards are very difficult to catch and the kids are having trouble in the outfield (I think it is the little league world series).

Dream 5:

I am having sex with my wife. My penis is about 5x bigger than usual and I have a giant condom on. She makes me stop because it feels too good and there are people close by.

WAKE UP FOR ~30 MIN

Dream 6:

I get back to bed and start thinking about being at a baseball game. Since the last game I went to was a Giants game I naturally start visualizing AT&T park and the view from my seat. At first it was just a thought then I slowly starting gaining more and more clarity on my visuals. After a couple of minutes I was THERE AT THE STADIUM. AWESOME!!!

I perform a reality check by climbing some rafters above the seats. It was incredibly easy so I concluded that I was dreaming. I take off flying over the stadium - very high up. This lucid is extremely vivid. I want to test the reality of my lucid. I recall looking down at my shadow, waiting for it to appear after passing through the roof shadows and sure enough my shadow popped up right when it was supposed to. I was amazed that my mind was able to produce it so perfectly.

It was a very windy day and I loved feeling it hitting my face when I was flying. I tried thinking about what to do next. I couldn't think of anything cool so I decided that I wanted to have sex. I left the stadium and was flying over the bay. I summoned some hot chicks in a boat but I had trouble stopping / slowing down. I was flying very fast. Each boat I passed I summoned more hot chicks but I couldn't stop. Finally I landed in a boat. I started banging this smoking hot chick but quickly realized that her dad was also in the boat. I wished him away and continued. Unfortunately I "woke up" shortly after.

Dream 7:

I am in bed trying to find a place in my dream journal to record my lucid experience but I there were no available pages. (false awakening)

Suddenly I am in some kind of subway station with my brother. We are trying to figure out how to get to an amusement park.

Then I wake up for real.

Non-dream Dream

Dream 1:

I am in the Olympic gymnastics finals doing the floor exercise. I am way ahead of the competition.

Dream 2:

I am climbing Mt Everest for the second time. This time I am with Kelly Bundy (Christina Applegate). She is worried that I will go crazy on her due to altitude sickness. She has some catch phrase that will make her baseball card worth a lot later (?!?). We take a very long and round about way to the top.

I woke up (false awakening) and I am writing all of my previous dream down in my dream journal in extreme detail (at the kitchen table). I went through the entire morning. My wife gets ready for work and is about to leave until she sees me writing in my journal. She says "wow that must have been a good dream." I feel very satisfied and relieved that I am able to remember such a vivid dream. My wife and I leave the house for work and she is following me to get on a freeway. All the while I have some sense that I am dreaming. Some guys are on top of a light post (they kind of flew up there). I try to ignore them so they don't think they are cool. I tell my wife to watch out.

Dream 3:

I keep getting strange messages while I am at work (in the dark). There are strange beings having sex with girls. One looks like a tree-like alien with a large root penis. Another is a sea anenome type thing sucking some chicks p*ssy.

Dream 4:

Suddenly I am in a heated debate with my wife regarding Mike Trout vs Bryce Harper. I am trying to explain how Trout is so much better because not only did he miss a month of the season, but he is also a lead off hitter and his power numbers are so much better than Harper's. She doesn't agree with me (in real life she is on my side).

I have a couple strange dreams such as Mr. Garrison from South Park flying around my room pooping on things and playing silly games. I wake up all of a sudden and I am in my back yard with my two cats on the fence fighting. This is not a common occurrence for my cats so I look into the house to call for my wife. I feel incredible pressure on my head and I am scared. This shock puts me back into my bed but the pressure is still there. I realize it might just be sleep paralysis and that I am safe, so I start focusing on the pressure. A few more images pop in my head and I hear a sound like a radio broadcast. Then I lose the sensation and wake up.

Non-dream Dream

A couple of vivid dreams today:

Dream 1:

I am on some sort of mission with JW and JF. I am driving, I take a short cut through an alley and almost hit a woman. I am holding something out in front of me to get it past her.

Dream 2:

There is a huge party at my house. The yard is really big and we have a huge side yard with veggies and nectarine trees. WW and some other girl and the party say they like my wife (want to have sex with her). There are tons of Asian people and I am playing football with them. I throw the football over the roof by mistake. My wife is putting together some massive cabinet outside against the wall where the oak tree should be. There are 8 cats (all variations of my cat, S) sleeping next to each other in order of size.

I woke up and thought about the party dream for a while, then went back into it.

Mike Trout shows up to the party with his girlfriend, a tiny, cute Asian girl. I tell him that I HAVE to pitch to him so I go looking for a baseball. I find a bunch of baseballs but they are all nasty except for all of my autographed ones. The autographed baseballs are all signed by family, friends and myself. Next I am at Guadalupe Elementary School on the field pitching to Mike Trout. There is a catcher there too in full gear.

The first pitch I throw is a fastball on the outside corner for a called strike one. Next I throw a slider which I aimed (I was hesitant to throw it). It's not a very good pitch. He swings at it and barely gets a piece. After the pitch I realize that I am standing way too far away so I scoot up. Next I throw a beautiful slider and he fouls it straight back but he pulls something in his leg. I think this happened because I was thinking how much it would suck if I injured Mike Trout.

There is a doctor at the party with an x-ray machine. He examines Mike's leg and informs us that he has cancer. I'm not sure if it is real or a joke. Mike Trout and his girlfriend start to leave and I beg his girlfriend to send me the video of me pitching to him (she filmed it on her I-phone). I think she did. I hugged her and shook Mike's hand. He has pretty bad acne and was really nice - he reminds me of my younger self.

Note - I think my wife was pregnant at the party.

Dream 3:

I am at a huge mall that looks like an airport. I am full of confidence. I stand in line for the directory but forget what I am looking for. When it is my time to look at the directory I just walk away.

Non-dream Dream Lucid Dream

I had a couple of very vivid dreams last night.

Dream 1:

I am about to have either tooth surgery or surgery on my testicles and I feel very frustrated. I am at my old Anaheim house. My parents are being a pain. They said they are "really busy" and wouldn't make it to the surgery until really late. My brother is helping me find a suit to wear to the surgery. I am having a child soon. I woke up with pain in my left testicle.

Dream 2:

I am playing baseball and TK is my coach. I'm not in the field because I need to sleep.

Dream 3:

Bowling is in the olympics and LA calls me so I can watch it.

Dream 4:

It is my wedding day and my brother is helping me out with the tux. Even though it is the day of the wedding we JUST got fitted for the tuxes and we (me, my brother, and bender from Futurama) go to get them just 5 minutes before the ceremony is about to start. I mingle with some guests - mostly my wife's co-workers. Some older lady asks me where ___ (cant remember his name) is and I reply "sorry I have no idea who he is." She gets really sad and asks if he is dead and I say "I don't know" and I rush down to get my tux.

After getting the tux, the trip back to the mingling area is very difficult. There is an obstacle course very similar to the show Wipeout. Every time I try to pass one particular spot I say "Is this really what it's like getting out of a prostate?" Everyone laughs (?!?).

On the way up to the ceremony I realize that my worst fear has come true. We are minutes from the ceremony and my tux isn't on, we didn't practice our first dance, I didn't prepare a speech for later that evening, I really didn't know what was going on at all. Then I realize that everything will be ok and I am at peace.

I reach the holding room where my wife is waiting for me. She asks me a question and I snap into awareness. I say "But this is a dream!" The look on my wife's face at this moment after telling her this is a dream is one of the saddest things I have ever seen. She is crushed. She really wants the wedding to be perfect and I do too. She starts crying and I say "It's OK, it's OK," but she runs out of the room. I fly after her for a short while but she has disappeared. Everything goes black. I try to fight it but I eventually wake up.

I was lucid for about 15 seconds. I have no idea what triggered the DILD but I think it had to do with the strange timing of the wedding (nothing being prepared, etc...).

Dream 5:

I am a left fielder playing in a baseball game and I can't catch a fly ball. I misjudge all of the balls hit to me or lost them in the lights.
