I lived in a very large apartment complex that sat at the top of a canyon. The canyon was really deep and beautiful. I was around some people that were sort of arguing about something but I wasn’t paying attention. I noticed that there was a small bowl of lava at the bottom of the canyon. I alerted to someone to look at it but they acted like the lava was common knowledge and they didn’t seem bothered by it. When I continued to pester the DC about the lava they explained that the lava rises a little each year and that in 50 years or so the canyon will be filled and we will all have to move somewhere else. He seemed assured that it wouldn’t happen for a long time so I stopped asking questions. I think stopped looking at the lava and had a casual half minded conversation with some DC but all the while the lava situation was still in the back of my mind. I decided to check on the lava again, this time the lava was half way up the canyon. I freaked. I quickly ran to grab Allen to show him. When I dragged him to look at the lava with me it had risen to just under the very top of the canyon and was moving fast. Everyone started to run up a steep hill to get away from the lava. I turned to see that it was moving much faster then I could up the hill. There was a book case on top of the hill and Allen and I crawled on top of it. There was nowhere else to go. The lava continued to rise. It reached all the way to the lip of the book case we were on before it stopped. It lingered there a moment before it started to rescind. Allen joked that he was going to push me into the lava but I didn’t think it was very funny. Finally the lava receded back down into the canyon.

I went to go visit Jayme at her tattoo shop to set up an appointment for both me and Allen to get work done by her. Her tattoo shop was incredible. The walls were dark green jade that had been carved out to shop pictures of little men in the rain forest. The whole place had a new age meets Asian inspired vibe, with lots of strong colors like dark green, mustard yellow, orange, deep purple, ect. Jayme’s eyes were really wide open and reminded me of a deer’s eyes. It was really warm out so we were both wearing summer dresses. I asked her how much and she said that she was going to slash her hourly price way down to $35 on hour. I was amazed at this, and super excited. Then she offered to drive to my house and do them there so we wouldn’t have to drive all the way out to her. I was really pleased and shocked at her courtesy. I agreed that she would come out later and we started to make small talk about random things. I told her I was nervous about having my ribs done because that’s a painful area. She told me that she discovered a new method of tattooing that didn’t hurt. She pulled out a needle and asked if she could put a tiny black dot on my hand. I agreed. She turned on the needle and barley touched my hand. I was amazed at how soft and painless it was.

Dream Fragment: Something about me going to stay in a cabin for camping. I drove out to the cabin to look at it. I was in the middle of some dense woods but I got a weird vibe from the other people that were there and I turned around and left.
