I was staying in a really nice hotel in a city during Christmas time. Allen was with me. It was snowy outside and everyone was bundled up in big winter coats and scarves. This is one of my favorite times of the year so I was really excited. The hotel was massive and fully decorated in reds and golds, bustling with people. The most interesting thing though was this massive fish tank in the middle of the hotel. Inside were sharks that everyone was calling threshers but really they were thresher shark tales with hammer heads on them. There were about 50 of them in this tank; it was so packed with the sharks that they couldn’t swim without bumping into each other. I was fascinated by them and how aggressive they were. I watched as one larger one tore a smaller one into pieces. Their teeth were even more unusually pointy then normal. I got up right next to the glass, practically touching it with my nose. One of them was looking right at me and bumping into the glass over and over again. I signaled to allen to come closer. I explained to him that they must be each between 7 and 10 ft long. I was standing in amazement. Above the sharks were a metal container with seals. The sharks were trying to get to the seals but they were clearly safe so I didn’t worry about the little guys. One of them hopped out of the metal container and onto the ground next to me. I picked him up and scratched behind his ear, he apparently enjoyed it. Then I set him down to leave. When I walked upstairs I looked once more at the tank for a little bit before going outside in the cold with Allen.
I was on some remote island. The beach was huge and all I could see for miles was crystal blue ocean. The sun was huge, and very warm. I was sunbathing alone in a very cute 1950’s inspired bathing suit when Spleen walked by. I asked him if he would take a picture of me in the water so that I could always remember this place he said sure and sat down on the beach. I walked out into the water until it was up to my neck. Then I swam on my back back to shore. I found this so enjoyable and peaceful that I repeated this a few more times. I had totally forgotten about Spleen and I felt like I was alone. When I had gotten back to about my neck in the water for the 4th or 5th time, I remembered that a lot of sharks inhabited these waters and that it probably wasn’t safe for me to swim in. I quickly swam back to shore and walked back one the beach. Spleen told me about the party on the island that apparently everyone was at and that I should join. We walked together into the forest where sure enough there was a massive party with fire dancers, music, and lots of food and booze. Allen was there spinning to a crowd of girls and I laughed at him. He gave me a wink and I grabbed a drink and began observing everyone at the party. It felt really nice and relaxing to be there.
