      Up Starts from Down (lucid)
      NON-DREAM NON-LUCID LUCID
      [False Awakening]
I toss and turn and cant seem to fall back asleep, so I get up and turn on the computer. A quick look outside tells me that it is about 4:00PM. I click a few of my favorite websites browsing my favorite sites and check my email, and my computer screen starts bugging out. It won't let me type or click on anything, rendering it as useful as a brick. An idea snaps in my mind that I'm may be dreaming, and I do a reality check. Yep, it passed, and I became lucid. The computer screen went back to normal, and I thought about the tasks I should do. I look up and an Enterprise-like starship is at a low altitude in the sky. Maybe I should check up there... I thought, so I walked away from the computer to open a portal. Might as well kill two birds with one stone, so I fell backward to stabilize the dream and transport to the ship. I felt myself rising upward into the sky, but quickly lost altitude. I woke up in my bed, ticked that I failed. I couldn't really fall back asleep.

    2. 9-15-10: The Report

      Non-Dream Non-Lucid Lucid False Awakening

I find myself in my ASB (student body) classroom. with the old student body class and counselors. I thought I didn't run for student body, this year, but I simply dismissed it as insignificant (whoops). As usual, at the beginning of the week, we were assigned reports to carry out to our classroom. My friend Z and I exited the room and found ourselves in an unfamiliar school with white and green walls. This same school was the school I went to to help my neighbor set up her classroom. I realized my friend Z wasn't in ASB as we gave the report, but again I dismissed it as not a big deal (another whoops). We finished and left the classroom, and I found myself as K of the Penguins of Madagascar (WTF?). We were trying to break open a brick wall off a school to get inside, as the school was in lock-down(?) or something. After several attempts of trying to total the wall, R simply ran the Hummer we were in through the wall, and I found myself closing my eyes, and opening them to appear my bedroom. This was a false awakening, I thought, because something was just off, and I became lucid. A long haired man walked into my room, and he appeared hideously warped. He had no visible face, his arms were dropped, his clothes were tattered, and his legs were limp. As I said, "R. P., is that you?", (I have no idea whose name I called out, I just remember the name) and he walked faster than the speed of light, and slurped near my left ear. My last thought was 'WTF!' as I woke up.

      Notes:
      Vividness: 7/10 (Pretty vivid.)
Lucidity Peak: 4/10 (Wasn't lucid for long, and had no control)

    3. The Archives: Earthquake

      Non-Dream Non-Lucid Lucid False Awakening

This is my first DJ entry . I am starting out with a dream that I had a very long time ago (when I was 5). I will be labeling dreams over a year old with 'The Archive'. Also, before I was 11, I had the ability to easily control my dreams, but was unaware of my power, so I couldn't do anything that wasn't possible in the moment. Possibly because of puberty. Hope you enjoy.

Upon entering the dream, I was in my bedroom. The familiar red, blue, and yellow walls, toys strewn across the floor, video games and the TV set up against each other, several wooden drawers, it all looked real. Suddenly the room began to shake. I tried to wake up my little brother but he wouldn't. I ran out my room into the large dining room, almost hurting myself tripping over everything. I saw my mom running into the bedroom, totally ignoring me for my crying brother. The shaking got more intense, as you can see the glasses and vases falling off shelves landing with a loud crash. My dad ran outside, by the chiming grandfather clock and the noisy piano, almost playing in unison. My mom followed. I felt I couldn't do anything, and that I did not even exist. I even screamed for my parents and they didn't come. I thought, 'This better be a dream.' Soon, I felt I was going to perish because of falling boards, so I shut my eyes to cry. I opened my eyes with tears.

      Notes:
Vividity - 10/10 (Everything was crystal clear, as real as real life.)
