    Earth's Last Day

I had this dream around 1988. It was very vivid but I was not lucid, if memory serves. I was standing outdoors somewhere with a guy I worked with, named Marc. There were asteroids, comets, nuclear missiles and UFOs flying wildly all over the sky, but mostly UFOs. As we all know, these are all speculated ways that the Earth may come to its demise. So in the dream I was thinking...'Wow, so this is it. All these things are happening at once.' Then suddenly this huge UFO, so big it almost completely blocked out the whole sky, comes down and lands right in front of us. It was your typical round UFO. It then proceeded to dig itself into the Earth until the roof of it was level with the ground. The whole thing was now underground! A huge round hatch (I know, so cliche) the opened up to reveal an entire fully functioning city inside! The tops of the skyscrapers were right at our feet. I wanted to climb down the side of a building and go check out this city. For some reason, I was not afraid but Marc was and he refused to go. I didn't go either but we both knew that this was the end of the world (as we know it) and that we were being taken over by aliens. I have two thoughts on this dream. The first one is that back when I had this dream, I did not believe aliens existed and had never seen a UFO. I never once considered that aliens would take us over. Also, I had never picked up a Bible and had no forethought about the New Jerusalem being brought down to Earth in Revelation. So my question is: Could this dream have been prophetic? Did I witness the New Jerusalem coming from the sky? Back in 1988, the only possible cause for the end of the world I'd ever contemplated was nuclear war, which may be why my mind threw the nuclear missiles into the air along with the UFOs and comets.
