This one had some interesting elements.

I entered dreaming through the sound current and found myself at my good friend Michael's house in a non lucid dream.

There had been some flooding and the wooden floorboards of his kitchen were starting to warp.

I woke up at this point and then followed the sound current back into dreaming. Now I was jogging on a road and came to a drawbridge. The mid section was up so I couldn't cross.

I decided to jump into the water and planned to swim across the rest of the way. It was about a 20 foot drop to the water and I went deeper down than I planned. The water was crystal clear and so much like the air above that I thought I could breathe it. I took a deep breath and instantly became lucid.

I easily rose to the surface and floated to the other side of the river. There on the shore I called for my spirit guide, the Goddess. I immediately saw a young hispanic woman with a bright aura of light approaching me. She was wearing a black and white print dress and was smiling.

I asked her if she was from the Goddess and she said "Yes". I asked her name and she said "Selena".

Then I showed her a piece of paper with writing on it that Michael had given me in the previous non lucid dream. The letter said that "There is a history of depression in my family that started with a man falling out of a boat and drowning".

I was confused about the letter, about how I got it and what it meant, and I lost my lucidity at this point.

The next day I visited Michael in waking life and told him the dream. His eyes opened wide as I spoke. He told me that "last night there was a thunderstorm and his roof leaked and he had to put plastic over his kitchen floor to keep the wood from warping".

Then he said that he and his father, who was dead, had experienced a very difficult relationship with each other. He went on to say that his father told him that when his father was a young man his best friend went out in a boat in a storm and drowned and that he never recovered from the loss.
