Task of the Month - Explore the Akashic Records
So, I had a series of dreams back-to-back last night. Most of them I only remember bits and pieces of. I know that I was at a High School looking for the girl's changing room >.>; I was elsewhere sitting inside a car which was parked in the yard of a single-wide trailer; and finally, I recall being in a small room with this guy who was vacuuming the floor. I think that that guy was my Dream Guide, the sneaky bastard. I'm still not lucid by the way. So, this guy is vacuuming the floor and he's pushing the vacuum with his right hand and he's holding a leash with his left hand. Tied to his leash was this huge centipede-like creature, probably as big as a cat but a lot longer, and it had a flat head like a snake's. I asked this guy, I said "what the hell is that?!" And he's like "oh this? this is an armapede...." So, it was a centipede + an armadillo. It certainly did have the head of an armadillo. The next thing I know, that thing had latched onto my left foot and I picked up my left foot trying to shake it off. You know, the thing about dreams is that you never feel any real pain, however, you can most certainly feel things, such as when something is biting your foot, or cold, heat, water, hard surfaces, etc. This thing that was on my foot, it freaked me out and it felt weird having it latched onto my foot. Anyways, moving on! Somehow I got it off and then I opened the door and walked into the next room. As I took five or six steps, something clicked and all of my memories about my real life came back to me--I was now fully lucid. The very first thing I did was rubbed my hands together. As I did so, I called out to my Dream Guide. I called out to them four or five times--getting louder and more agitated each time. Nobody came. Every single question I wanted to ask them had come back to me and here I was, fully lucid, calling out for them, and nobody's showing up. I was pissed. It had not occurred to me to go back into the other room and talk to the guy vacuuming the floor. I was afraid of that armapede thing after all. Then my dream began to fade even though I was rubbing my hands together. That crap never worked for me. As my dream was fading, I paid extremely close attention to what was going on. Everything lost focus and became pixelated and gradually got grayer and grayer. Then I woke up, disappointed. I bet two cents that guy was my Dream Guide and he had that 'thing' with him because he didn't want me to ask him any questions. I swear, if it's the last thing I do, I will confront my Dream Guide again and they will tell me what I want to know, damn it.
