Fragment of Dreams
I had several dreams last night, most of them I can not recall the specifics of, but no matter what the dream was about, my mother appeared in them and warned me not to drink the coffee, especially if it was made using the white coffee beans. She said the white coffee beans were full of fat. She came into at least 5 of my dreams last night that I can recall to give me this warning. In the last dream, she even showed me what the white coffee beans looked like and said that the white was pure fat.\n(I have never heard of white coffee beans. But, the weird thing about this warning dream is that neither I or my mother ever drink coffee)
This dream is very fuzzyI was flying above the road and someone was with me. They commented on how close I came to the telephone wires. I told them I was either going to have to get up above the telephone poles or drop down a little lower.
I was running along an uneven, wooden boardwalk that ran along the length of the top floor of several buildings set close together. Sometimes I would have to go up or down a few steps as I came to the junctions between the buildings, where there were also stairs to the other levels. It was a typical hot, humid night. When I arrived at my apartment, I slowed down to catch my breath. I put my hand to my side and it was wet. I was wearing a short cotton dress that was drenched in sweat. I would need to go into my apartment briefly to change before I continued on my way. The door to my apartment was around the corner of the building. It was the only one that faced that direction, and beyond that were the stairs to go down to the lower levels. As I turned the corner, I was immersed in darkness. I loved that about my apartment. I could look out at the rest of the city at night and no one else could see where I stood. I pulled the wet dress up over my head and off. I could feel a slight breeze hit my moist body. I briefly looked out at the apartments across the way. They did not have a breezeway, but individual balconies. No one was out tonight. Most people had their sliding glass doors open wide to catch what ever slight breeze came their way. I could hear their music and voices and see into many of their apartments. Some of them had laundry hanging up. I turned and went into my apartment. As i closed the door, something stopped it from shutting. I pushed harder and some one was pushing back. I became scared and pushed with all my might. Just before the door shut, I could see the green eyes of a woman looking in at me through the crack of the door as the light from the apartment shined on them. I didn't Know who it was, but they weren't coming in... at least not until I was dressed. The woman's voice called out "This is Saiyen, I need to get a message to Karim. Karim was someone I worked with and trusted. He had a sister named Saiyen. Then I woke up.The setting seems to take place in another country, but as the character in my dream, I am in very familiar surroundings
I got a phone call from a friend who was across the bay. He asked me to bring him a large metal cylinder that he had forgotten to take when he left. He told me he needed it right away. I looked where he told me to and found it. It was quite heavy. I wondered how I was going to be able to carry it and still be able to keep my balance. Then I noticed it was attached to what looked like a harness. I managed to get it on my back and all strapped in. I still was not sure if I could manage such a heavy load, but decided to give it a try. I pushed off the dock and began to fly over the shallow water. Because the cylinder was secured on my back and not shifting it's weight, I was able to handle the extra weight. I do not know what is in the tank, but I assume it is some kind of fuel for his fishing boat. I took off across the bay to where my friend was waiting. When I got there he asked me to stay for a while. He had some friends coming over and he would be grilling. I agreed to stay. I got comfortable on the dock. (There is not much I remember in this part of the dream., but he is only there part of the time. He keeps going elsewhere to be with his other friends then returns. At one point we all get together and eat.) While we were all sitting around my friend's cabin after the meal, a man comes up and tells my friend that he was only authorized two fishing passes and there were a lot more people using it. I told the man that only two people had been fishing, the rest were just friends that were visiting. The man left, but I then had a very uncomfortable feeling come over me. I noticed how everyone else was acting jittery and nervous. I felt that I had unknowingly been involved in something illegal and it had nothing to do with fishing passes. The last of the food had been put away and my friend left with his other friends, leaving me alone in the cabin. I wondered what was in the tank I brought over. I looked around and found the tank. When I lifted it, I was surprised to discover that it was now very light. Whatever had been in it was no longer there. I unscrewed the lid and looked inside. Empty. Then I took my finger and ran it on the inside of the container. A white residue remained on my finger. I smelled it, but couldn't smell anything. Then I touched my finger to my tongue to taste it. It had a slightly sweat taste, but it was nothing familiar. Suddenly I realized what I had done. I had no idea what was in that container. Why would I taste it! I thought of the old detective shows where they always tasted the white powder to see if it was cocaine. But I had no idea what cocaine taste like, so what sense did that make. I put the lid back on the container and put it back where I found it. Then I headed into the kitchen. I heard my friend returning and I grabbed the broom and began to sweep the floor. That is all I remember.
I was at college orientation. They put us 3 to a room. The other two ladies I shared the room with were also older than the average college student, so it was a good match. There was a small group among us that were in a special program. If their names were chosen, they would leave halfway through orientation and head to a new college. A girl that I had made friends with was among them and her name was announced at dinner. The next morning she was already gone. I got a phone call from her. She was at the airport waiting to board and felt bad that she wasn't able to say good bye. I asked her where she was going and she said to the new Key Academy. I asked where that was and she told me it was in the Florida Keys (I think Siesta Key?) She told me it was a new military academy that had just opened up. I asked what branch it was and she told me all branches. "Then what branch are you going into?" "I don't know yet." "We do not have to decide until halfway through the program." "What state are you from?" She said "Connecticut" Then, I know you are going to enjoy the weather down there. (I woke up several times this morning, and I ended up continuing the dream) All I remember is it was later in time and I was on my way to the Florida Keys to visit her.) This dream was influenced by the fact that the day before We received my son's welcome packet for college.
A man had been after me for a long time since he discovered that I could fry. To avoid his detection, I moved far away to a small village in another country. I limited my flying to night time, when it would be less likely to be detected. That evening, I saw him in town, but he had not noticed me. I thought that if I layed low, he would not notice me and would soon leave the area in search of me elsewhere. I would not fly again until I was sure he was long gone. I slipped past the man, who was preoccupied talking to some locals. I took the stairs on the side of the large Inn. They led to a large porch on the back side of the Inn about three stories up. This would be a great place to hang out. Very few people came back here in the evenings. There were several hammocks that hung along the length of this grand porch, which the guests could use. I got into one of the hammocks and made myself comfortable. A little while later, I heard some girls approaching. I wrapped the hammock around me and turned my face toward the building, hoping I would go unnoticed. But, no luck! One of the girls came up to me and shouted excitedly to the other two "La Mujer Mariposa!" My nemesis had really gotten smart this time. He took the myths and beliefs of the villagers and used it to his advantage. Now everyone in the village would be looking for "La Mujer Mariposa". The girl's shouting had gotten the attention of others and I could hear them running up the stairs. I had no choice but to fly away or I would be captured. I sprang from the hammock and leaped off the porch, flying into the night. The three girls watched in delight. I knew this was only a temporary solution, which would probably lead to my capture. Now that they had witnessed my flight, the whole village would be searching for me. I found a building under construction and landed there in the shadows. Soon I could see people everywhere in search of me. The flashlights were moving in all directions. That is all I remember.
