    1. volley ball team

      by , 06-05-2011 at 03:19 PM
I joined a womens' volley ball team. We only had three practices, when the coach decided that she wanted us to enter into these volley ball trials to get accepted into the league. I personally didn't think we were any where near ready for this since most of us had not even practiced our serves yet. The coach found a loop hole in the league rules that would put us at a great advantage if our star player was a married lesbian. I stepped up and volunteered to marry Darcy if our team made it into the league. I was not a lesbian, but I was not in a relationship and I was not one of the better players, so I figured if it would help the team, why not? It would only be a marriage on paper. Besides, the likelihood of our team getting into the league was very slim. The coach was very pleased that I had volunteered to do that.
I was not allowed to participate in the trials. If we won the trials, I would no longer be a part of the volley ball team. Our team did not make it into the league. In fact they were one of the first teams eliminated. I felt a wave of relief.

    2. Don't Drink the Coffee

      by , 04-25-2011 at 09:56 PM
I had several dreams last night, most of them I can not recall the specifics of, but no matter what the dream was about, my mother appeared in them and warned me not to drink the coffee, especially if it was made using the white coffee beans. She said the white coffee beans were full of fat. She came into at least 5 of my dreams last night that I can recall to give me this warning. In the last dream, she even showed me what the white coffee beans looked like and said that the white was pure fat.\n(I have never heard of white coffee beans. But, the weird thing about this warning dream is that neither I or my mother ever drink coffee)
    3. Delivered a Tank- fragment

      by , 03-28-2011 at 05:02 PM
I got a phone call from a friend who was across the bay. He asked me to bring him a large metal cylinder that he had forgotten to take when he left. He told me he needed it right away. I looked where he told me to and found it. It was quite heavy. I wondered how I was going to be able to carry it and still be able to keep my balance. Then I noticed it was attached to what looked like a harness. I managed to get it on my back and all strapped in. I still was not sure if I could manage such a heavy load, but decided to give it a try. I pushed off the dock and began to fly over the shallow water. Because the cylinder was secured on my back and not shifting it's weight, I was able to handle the extra weight. I do not know what is in the tank, but I assume it is some kind of fuel for his fishing boat. I took off across the bay to where my friend was waiting. When I got there he asked me to stay for a while. He had some friends coming over and he would be grilling. I agreed to stay. I got comfortable on the dock. (There is not much I remember in this part of the dream., but he is only there part of the time. He keeps going elsewhere to be with his other friends then returns. At one point we all get together and eat.) While we were all sitting around my friend's cabin after the meal, a man comes up and tells my friend that he was only authorized two fishing passes and there were a lot more people using it. I told the man that only two people had been fishing, the rest were just friends that were visiting. The man left, but I then had a very uncomfortable feeling come over me. I noticed how everyone else was acting jittery and nervous. I felt that I had unknowingly been involved in something illegal and it had nothing to do with fishing passes. The last of the food had been put away and my friend left with his other friends, leaving me alone in the cabin. I wondered what was in the tank I brought over. I looked around and found the tank. When I lifted it, I was surprised to discover that it was now very light. Whatever had been in it was no longer there. I unscrewed the lid and looked inside. Empty. Then I took my finger and ran it on the inside of the container. A white residue remained on my finger. I smelled it, but couldn't smell anything. Then I touched my finger to my tongue to taste it. It had a slightly sweat taste, but it was nothing familiar. Suddenly I realized what I had done. I had no idea what was in that container. Why would I taste it! I thought of the old detective shows where they always tasted the white powder to see if it was cocaine. But I had no idea what cocaine taste like, so what sense did that make. I put the lid back on the container and put it back where I found it. Then I headed into the kitchen. I heard my friend returning and I grabbed the broom and began to sweep the floor. That is all I remember.
    4. Cows in Bed

      by , 03-25-2011 at 01:08 AM
I entered this room and I was looking up at this very big bed with two cows standing on top. There were also several smaller animals up there, but they were hard to see from where I stood. I had come there to remove the animals. I would have no problem getting the smaller animals off the bed, but the cows were going to be more of a challenge. I couldn't carry them Like I could the smaller animals and if they jumped, they would surely get injured. (the top of the bed was about 5-6 feet high) I was going to have to set up a ramp for the cows to walk down. I was angry at how people could be so neglectful with their animals. Didn't they realize that cows need a much bigger area to graze. (It never occurred to me just how odd this situation was.) I first surveyed the room. If I set up a ramp straight out it would end at the bed on the opposite wall. That bed was a normal sized bed with a pretty blue flowered bed spread on top. I didn't want the cows to have to walk over this bed, because they could do damage to it. Therefore, I would have to put the ramp at a diagonal. I walked out of the room to look for something I could use for a ramp. I asked someone next door if they had some boards I could use and a man handed me four 2x4s that were about five feet long. I handed them back to him telling him I needed boards that were much longer and wider. I then headed across the street to find something. As I was crossing, I noticed that some people that I had come with were by the road ready to put up barricades so the cows could safely cross the street to get to a pasture. I told them to hold off blocking the road because it would take me some time to make a ramp for the cows. There was a lot going on in the yard across the street. There were big plastic things all over the yard and people were busy assembling them. I asked what was going on and they told me that tomorrow was the birthday of the little boy who lived there and they had to have all these giant plastic animals assembled before then. All I could think was what a big waste of money to buy all these animals for just one day. They surely didn't plan to keep them there permanently. There were too many of them. I asked the people assembling the animals if they knew of any boards around that I could use and they said that they didn't and they were to busy to help me look. I then remembered that there was a large board in the garage and maybe if I looked around I might find others. ( The board I remembered was from real life, but this was not my house or garage.) I headed to the garage to look. That is all I remember.

    5. Washing baby/ Dogs

      by , 03-20-2011 at 04:10 PM
I had a restless sleep last night and my dreams were busy dreams that lacked the vividness of my normal dreams.

There was a toddler standing next to me with a load in his diapers and poop streaming down both legs. I picked him up, brought him in the bathroom and gave him a bath. I then cleaned up the bathroom. When I looked back down at him, he had already messed those diapers and it was starting to leak out of the sides. I gave him another bath. When I finished, I realized I did not have a change of clothes or a diaper in the bathroom with me. I placed him on the floor where he would be safe and went to get the clothes and diaper. When I returned, he was covered in mud. I had no idea where he had gotten into the mud, but I gave him yet another bath. After I dried him off, I decided not to put another change of clothes on him. I just put a clean diaper on him and placed him in a chair beside another toddler.

I had just finished walking five dogs. We had a tradition that after the walk, I would line the dogs up, remove their leashes and have them race to the house. The dogs loved this. My friend would be waiting at the door to let them in. So I was in the park a little ways from the house. I had taken the leashes off the dogs and lined them up, then released them. I bent down to pick up the leashes and I heard some dogs fighting. I looked up and to my surprise, there were about 50 dogs in the street. I ran over to where the dogs were fighting because one of them looked like one of my dogs, but as I got closer, I realized that it was a different dog with similar markings. I saw another dog that looked like one of mine and again when I approached it, I realized it belonged to someone else. This went on for a while as I slowly made it back to the house. When I finally made it to the house, all five dogs and my friend were waiting for me. Apparently they had all run strait home without an incident and my friend was wondering what was taking me so long.

    6. College Orientation

      by , 03-19-2011 at 02:59 PM
I was at college orientation. They put us 3 to a room. The other two ladies I shared the room with were also older than the average college student, so it was a good match.
There was a small group among us that were in a special program. If their names were chosen, they would leave halfway through orientation and head to a new college. A girl that I had made friends with was among them and her name was announced at dinner. The next morning she was already gone. I got a phone call from her. She was at the airport waiting to board and felt bad that she wasn't able to say good bye. I asked her where she was going and she said to the new Key Academy. I asked where that was and she told me it was in the Florida Keys (I think Siesta Key?) She told me it was a new military academy that had just opened up. I asked what branch it was and she told me all branches. "Then what branch are you going into?" "I don't know yet." "We do not have to decide until halfway through the program." "What state are you from?" She said "Connecticut" Then, I know you are going to enjoy the weather down there. (I woke up several times this morning, and I ended up continuing the dream) All I remember is it was later in time and I was on my way to the Florida Keys to visit her.) This dream was influenced by the fact that the day before We received my son's welcome packet for college.
    7. Flying and avoiding capture

      by , 03-18-2011 at 04:54 PM
A man had been after me for a long time since he discovered that I could fry. To avoid his detection, I moved far away to a small village in another country. I limited my flying to night time, when it would be less likely to be detected. That evening, I saw him in town, but he had not noticed me. I thought that if I layed low, he would not notice me and would soon leave the area in search of me elsewhere. I would not fly again until I was sure he was long gone. I slipped past the man, who was preoccupied talking to some locals. I took the stairs on the side of the large Inn. They led to a large porch on the back side of the Inn about three stories up. This would be a great place to hang out. Very few people came back here in the evenings. There were several hammocks that hung along the length of this grand porch, which the guests could use. I got into one of the hammocks and made myself comfortable. A little while later, I heard some girls approaching. I wrapped the hammock around me and turned my face toward the building, hoping I would go unnoticed. But, no luck! One of the girls came up to me and shouted excitedly to the other two "La Mujer Mariposa!" My nemesis had really gotten smart this time. He took the myths and beliefs of the villagers and used it to his advantage. Now everyone in the village would be looking for "La Mujer Mariposa". The girl's shouting had gotten the attention of others and I could hear them running up the stairs. I had no choice but to fly away or I would be captured. I sprang from the hammock and leaped off the porch, flying into the night. The three girls watched in delight. I knew this was only a temporary solution, which would probably lead to my capture. Now that they had witnessed my flight, the whole village would be searching for me. I found a building under construction and landed there in the shadows. Soon I could see people everywhere in search of me. The flashlights were moving in all directions. That is all I remember.
    8. I want my dreams back!

      by , 03-16-2011 at 10:13 PM
I woke up in my bedroom and my husband was lying next to me, still asleep. A voice told me that they would explain why I no longer had the vivid dreams that I had most of my life. (IRL I have had frequent, vivid dreams my whole life, but a few years back, I stopping remembering all but some very lame dreams with no plot. I want my dreams back) Then, a transparent screen appeared in the middle of the room that took up most of the room. The voice said "This is the dream your husband is having now. Then a small screen appeared right in front of me. It was about the size of a computer screen and had several small pictures on it like you might see in a google image search. The voice said "These are the dreams that you had last night." "Notice how much smaller they are than his dream." I looked over the images and put my hand through the image of a golden retriever. The dream played and was over in a few seconds. There was nothing worth remembering in it. The voice then explained that because my husband was now having such large dreams, there was not enough room for me to have large dreams too. The dreams that I saw in front of me were as big as they could get next to my husband's big dreams. The dreams that I used to have were even bigger than the dream that my husband was having and that is why they were so vivid and real to me. At that time my husband could not remember any of his dreams.

    9. If you really need help, you should be screaming

      by , 03-16-2011 at 09:38 PM
I was in a museum in front of the entrance to an interactive nature exhibit. I noticed how worn the entrance looked and was prepared for the whole exhibit to be run down. Once I entered, I was delightfully surprised how nice it was inside. They used real plants and it was landscaped like I was really outside on some country trail. I was my bike and looking around at all the wonderful detail. Then I spotted some grapes growing on the side of the path. I turned my head back to look at them while I continued to peddle my bike forward. Then I realized that I was off the trail. The bike fell out from under me and I grabbed a handful of vines so I wouldn't fall as well. The vines had covered a cliff. I thought how careless it was for me to let this happen. I tried to climb back up on the trail, but the dirt from the embankment crumbled in my hands. I was only able to hang on by the vines. Just then, someone on a bike was approaching. I asked him if he could help me. He peered over the cliff and asked me what I needed. I told him I needed help getting back up on the path. He said " Then why aren't you screaming for help". I told him that I thought I could get up by myself and when I realized that I couldn't, he came along. He said "If you really need help, you should be screaming". I asked him if he would help me. He said "OK, but I doubt it will do any good." He then shouted at some bikers up on the ridge. "Hey, someone is hanging from the ridge and can't get back up. Can you help!" One of the guys on the ridge shouted back "If they really needed help, they would be screaming." then they disappeared over the ridge. The guy then said "You see, I told you!" I said "Will you help me?" he said "I already did." I reached my hand that was not clenching the vines upward. "Take my hand and pull me up" "Why would I" he said "You still aren't screaming" I said "so you will only help me if I start screaming." He said "I never said that I was going to help you at all, but someone might." By now most of the vines had pulled out of the ground and the few that remained would be out any second. I looked around and there was nobody around accept for this guy. I tried harder to find something else to hold on to, but there wasn't anything. Just as I started to fall, I woke myself up.
