LONG dream [Fights, Flights, Zombies, Clarity] (MILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

[[Warning: This IS a very long dream]]

So, as is my custom now, I go to bed with the mantra (I guess this makes it a MILD? I dunno. ) that I will become lucid. I don't specify how, but hey, it worked.

So I get into the dream, and I'm with a group of about 50 people and we're all fighting these giant suits of armor gladiator style. Looking back on it, I'm glad I didn't go lucid here. It was much more fun without it! I was some kind of magic person that could shoot iciles out in a wave around me. Anyways, I got seperated from the group and it was just me VS a giant armor guy. . . So we talked. We stopped fighting and just talked about civilization. He mentioned one of my friends going to college just like me and remarking on that. But here's the creepy part...
When I woke up this morning, that same friend had JUST sent me a friend request on Facebook... WTF.

Anyways, after a nice chat, the event is over and I go walking outside with the huge group. We're all talking and having a bit of fun and walking out of some kind of Hotel. I meet up with my brother. As we get to the parking lot, I notice our car and go to walk towards it. Apparently, though, we went over the time limit for parking there EVEN though we had a permit to do so. They ended up moving our car to the furthest part of the lot. This happened to be so far away that we had to get a hotel room for the night. We unpacked bags that we suddenly had, and as I unpacking, I thought, "Man, this would be cool if it was a dream. Wait, what if I am dreaming? I'm dreaming!"

Boom baby, Lucid activate! I stood up and looked out our window, which had almost nothing outside of it. I yelled, "Clarity now!" Suddenly, this hotel was a port-side hotel with a beautiful bay next to it. I could see people walking and everything! The water shimmered with the sunset, too. I actually spent a while just admiring the landscape and touching everything. Lots of touching. The walls were soft, my hands made friction, the bed compressed when I stepped on it (Laying down in it might bring me back to waking life.), etc. I can't remember how it happened, but I got myself outside the hotel room, but to the left of the window I looked out of. I was in some kind of survivor camp. There were roofless structures that looked like high-tech RVs with a floor on top of them and stairs leading to the top. I knew one was mine and walked up that. There wasn't much there, toothpaste, a watch, maybe a dresser drawer or something.

Getting kind of bored, I turned around and saw another camp tower (I'll call them that.) grilled some hotdogs on theirs. I jumped over with a low-gravity thing and tried to talk with them, but their were biker-type people who liked to talk with fists. They kind of stared at me angirly, but didn't do anything. I got off their little camp tower and saw the point where me and my brother waited while their unfairly moved my car. But this time, there was a door behind it. I opened the door and casually walked inside. By the time I reached the end of the hallway next to some thin, cast-iron stairs you would find going to a boiler room or something, I felt something... I turned around and a disfigured, horrible zombie (Why did I want clarity?!) was limping VERY quickly towards me. I could go into detail, but I won't. Lets just say it was very clearly missing some of its organs...

"Guns!" I thought, but all I got was a knife-fork: a blade with prongs like a fork at the end of it. I stabbed it in the heart, and it went down surprisingly fast. Then, the door I walked through burst open quickly with a girl running through it. Also, it was now pitch-black midnight. One of the biker guys, kind of slim, sleezy face, long black ponytail, covered in leather, etc, charges the girl and pushes her down, then stabs a sword right through her (It was in complete shadow, but it was implied that he stabbed her.). Okay, I was starting to think following this dream wasn't going to go anywhere nice. I thought that, and instantly the guy stared at me and practically teleported right in front of me.

Next thing I know, I feel like I've gone back in time. I'm back outside with the camp towers and it's daytime again. "Allll right..." I had a few things stolen from me, but I didn't mind. I was dreaming! I felt a little shaky, so I did some RC to stabalize everything. Hands rubbing, plugging my nose (It is the weirdest feeling to breathe like that. I usually skip this RC 'cause it's easy to fail), and then checking the number of fingers I had. I already knew I was dreaming, but my dream tried to fool me... I had 7 fingers on my left hand and 3 on the other. I just started laughing. A second later, I saw that I couldn't see too far over this cliff conviniently located next to me. I just flew over it, and soon I was covered in a fog. I tried "Clarity!" again, but it didn't do much. I arrived at a huge door made of various food products. The knob was pretty big, but I opened it. Inside, an empty room yet again made of food and another big door. I did this cycle about 3 times until I got to a pitch black room. I said, "Lights on." and blip! Lights came on. Somehow, I was no longer flying, and the room was like a janitor's closet with empty shelves. The furthest wall from me was made of cakes. I walked in and saw that it was getting gradually darker behind me.

Holy shit... I turn around and I see Death with huge, torn, flowing black robes and all. So I did what any sane person would do; punch Death, steal the Scythe, teleport away. The punch actually worked and I got hold of a weird scythe made of bones and wrapped in cloth. I could only think of one place to go; the camp towers. But something had changed. . . Each camp tower was now themed based on a school I had been to. It now seemed more militaristic, too. I played around with Death's scythe a bit, but didn't wanna go murdering DC's, so I dropped it and it kind of vanished. At this point not too much was happening, so I tried something new. I struck a pose like Ryu from Street Fighter and tried to get a fireball going. After a few seconds, I could hear the fire in my hands, feel the warmth, rotating my hands to contain it and feeling it grow with each passing second. The I let it loose! Aaand nothing was there. Damnit! So close...

      By this point
I kind of lose lucidity as a girl from my high school camp tower points a gun at me and tells me to sing a song from the school to prove I'm not a zombie. I laugh that I can't think of any songs and she goes away. . . But then a bunch of soldiers from the game Modern Warfare 2 start to pop out and I defend myself with a sniper rifle until my dream fades away... But hot damn was that a long and awesome dream! Sadly, I wouldn't call this 10 minutes of FULL lucidity, seeing as I like to go along with my dreams. Usually they're interesting.

Kind of weird, but included in my little night-time mantra, I try to picture the place where I will become lucid. I pictured myself in some kind of room facing a corner at which two windows meet. HUH. SOUNDS FAMILIAR. LIKE A HOTEL ROOM I WAS IN. Yea, I'm kind of freaked out that it worked, but also incredibly excited that I did that. Perhaps I can start out my dreams in different locations like that. I dunno. Dreams are weird.

    2. Weird school place...

      Weird School Place... (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

So this dream lasted a while, but I never realized I was dreaming. Then again, nothing was really out of the ordinary. I was outside this one school (I assumed it was a school) near a bunch of extremely small basketball courts (3-point line was the end of each court). There were a bunch of kids playing that seemed to be seperated into their own little cliques. I walked through them and nobody really paid attention. Then I walked along the side of the school and saw two kids opening a door and going inside. When I walked around the corner, there was no door, only a walkway.

I walked through the walkway and suddenly had a laundry hamper that for some reason I had to pull down a long covered, outdoor staircase. An older lady (Around 50's-60's) asked me if I needed help, but I said no. Eventually, I ended up spilling the hamper about 10 steps from the bottom. Not much, really.

It was worth pointing out, though, that the environment was very vivid. I can still remember the rolling hills surrounding me whenever I looked away from the school. It was pretty nice.

First Chain Dream Part 3 (WILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I knew if I had succeeded in going slightly back into a previous dream once, I could easily do it again. Well, I was right. I closed my eyes, got a picture of my previous dream cemented into my brain (But not too focused), and just drifted away.

I ended up on the outskirts of a fairly suburban city. I had complete control. I could consciously think about everything around me. I saw what looked like a non-evil version of the mall from my previous dream, but this time with a nook in the wall. I walked and explored a bit, but all I found was some barrels and netting. I walked outside again to see two baseball fields next to each other. They were so close that a foul ball on one might be second base on the other. A bunch of kids were having fun, some were arguing, but none of them really paid any attention to me. A ball rolled over at my feet and they all motioned me to throw it back, so I did.

I started ignoring the baseball games and enjoyed the sunny day for a minute. I walked under a tree and the shadows were refreshing. But then, I saw a road in the distance with a few oblong houses lined up on an incline. I got a terrible feeling that something went wrong involving Mike. So I ran in and stopped for a second. I knew that if I kept going headstrong like that I would lose my lucidity quickly. I took that moment to try something new: altering my dream world. I looked at the wall, completely solid, and then noticed I was wearing a backpack.

I took off the backpack and imagined there being a safe right in front of me. I tried expecting there to be a safe right in front of me. . . Nope. Nothing. Well, okay then, I'll just force one in. I put down my bag and dug my hands into the wall. I tried to pull it apart horizontally. Nothing happened the first time, but then I really got into it and pulled it apart like it was some kind of moldable rubber. I expanded it vertically, and whaddya know, I made a safe. I put my bag in and pulled the wall back together. Huh.

I turned around and noticed Nick was casually behind me. I told him, "Nick, we have to get out of here and find Mike. Something's gone terribly wrong." He wanted to stay behind and say everything was fine, but told him, "No, you're coming. I want to see where this dream is going." "Fair enough." So we walked outside (the front wall of the house was gone) and came upon incredibly heavy traffic ranging from trucks to tractors to Volkswagen Beatles. Nick said, "God there's so much traffic..."

Again, this being a chain of dreams where I try new things, I held out my hands and just thought about stopping everything. Wouldn't you know it, nothing happened. So I yelled out, "STOP!" and everything slowly came to a standstill. We crossed the road in between each tightly packed car, eventually getting in to an empty car on the road. We start driving, take a left turn up the hill, and now we're on a busy highway. This gets kind of weird, but stay with me now.

I was still caught up in the fact that I JUST STOPPED FREAKING TIME, but as Nick was driving I started seeing more and more flatbed trucks around us. Mike was apparently driving a red convertable in front of us, and Nick says, "Man, I hope Mike is aligned with Cost-Co and not Wal-Mart..." Yes, aligned. So a bunch of Wal-Mart trucks advertising stuff like, "1 lb of Cod fish, only $1.95!" "32oz bag of Wavy Lays, only $2.95!" Then Nick said, "Oh no... He's with Wal-Mart!" and four Wal-Mart trucks surrounded Mike in a square formation, protecting every side of him, and easily doubled our speed down the highway. I couldn't stop laughing.

So then, on this now-empty cliffside road, I spotted up ahead a giant, armored Ninetails (Yes, the Pokemon. Mind you I have not played that game in 6-7 years.) who tumbled off the road with us in our car. We were at the bottom of the cliff now, mostly unharmed, and the Ninetails was stunned a bit. While it was dazed, Nick started taking Pills from the game Left 4 Dead (Again, haven't played in a few years). I thought, Oh shit! Wait, if he's using those... I'll just have to do him one better! So I just imagine myself with an Adrenaline shot to 1-up Nick. Boom! I got it right in my hands, and now I get filled with this awesome feeling of speed and power.

The Ninetails wakes up and starts to charge at me, but I jump out of the way. I hear, "We need weapons or something!" The word 'weapons' echoed with me, so I just believed I had some kind of fighting weapon, I didn't care what. What I got were two butter knives. Not steak knives or filet knives, butter knives. But, they seemed to do the trick. There was an epic fight between me and the Pokemon, as I was blocked and slashing and all that stuff. After I killed it,
we started joking at it and mocking it. I got caught up in this, especially after the fight, and lost lucidity. Not only that, but I lost the dream too.

I woke up and just thought, Wow... I need to write this down. NOW. And thus ends my crazy streak of dreams in one night.

      First Chain Dream Part 2

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

... I was drifting away back into my dream. Can't tell if I was Lucid here, but goddamn was this vivid... I was walking out of a building with Nick, Brian, and Mike and I just looked at everything. There were beautiful mountains covered in lush forests. It seemed like I had perfect eyesight, too. There were even shadows of clouds being projected onto the mountains! The next thing I knew, we were walking back inside of a mall and the sky over it was red and black (Evil!). Also, we all looked like some form of vampire hunter now. I had a giant sword and could run faster than everyone else.

I don't remember much in between, but I do remember killing a giant zombie-dragon-thing. I wasn't looking through my eyes often, more like I was seeing through cameras around the dark, fleshy building. When the monster fell, a gigantic portal opened up behind us (When I say gigantic, I mean like the roof grew 2 stories and the portal reached from the floor to roof) with a demented skull shaped in the middle of it. We all ran into the portal
and I woke up... Yea... But the best is yet to come...

    5. First Chain Dream: Part 1 [Shootouts and Supermarkets]

First Chain Dream: Part 1 (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

So before this even begins, I got into bed and only thought two things, "I will have a lucid dream tonight" and "Whatever I see will not be real." The second seemed kind of odd, but I guess it works for me. It took about 10 minutes or so because I kept focusing, but eventually I drifted away.

I woke up in some kind of bunk-bed / cubby-hole that looked like something straight out of a concentration camp. But I got out and saw that me and this guy named Nick were in a room with a door leading to a roof somewhere. It was still night out. We stepped outside and suddenly got the feeling that people were watching us. . . So I 'found' a Desert Eagle and started to shoot at other figures who had guns (I somehow had clips to reload too. Cool!). It was pretty easy. Then, I felt a deep pressure in my left arm and fell down (Pretty sure I got shot). But that's not all!

A few seconds after that, two of our friends, Mike and Brian, came up from what I assumed was a rooftop lower than us and apologized for shooting me. I got up and we all got into a car that had magically appeared to our left. Once we got in, we were on the road already. The road was empty except for us. As we took a left turn some guy didn't stop and grazed the left side of our car, which I was suddenly driving. Shortly I arrived at a Supermarket, during the daytime now, and got out of the car. However now I was with my friend Dan. I didn't mind.

A few seconds after walking into the supermarket, I noticed something, but I don't know what,
but it was enough. Aww man, I just hit the Lucid jackpot. I wanted to try low gravity this time. I didn't want full-on flying, been there, done that. As much as I willed, nothing happened. So, I had to get creative. I always read that if you can't will something, make it happen by creating a device or some other medium. I said to Dan, "Dan! You're dreaming right now!" He looked real surprised, but happy. "You should try low gravity!" And wouldn't you know, a few seconds later we were Moon-Bouncing in the supermarket.

I can't remember what happened, something about jumping over an old lady's shopping cart, but I woke up real quick. I thought, wait! Don't end now! So I didn't move, closed my eyes, and in a few seconds...

    6. Weird Series of Dreams [Old Favorite of mine]

      Weird Series of Dreams (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

So, another time this started with a brief game-like moment and I'm getting a lot of kills with a sniper rifle... But then it suddenly becomes real and me and this girl realize we're outnumbered! So we drop grenades behind us and run through this small hallway. We end up in a freezer room with random tanks of some fluid. Also, we're wearing labcoats now like we're scientists. About three guards come inside and find us, then the girl starts pulling out a bunch of karate / kung-fu moves, so I join in and we take them out... Next scene!

These may seem like different dreams, but it all seemed to happen in the same stream of conciousness. I'm now driving my car and come upon a house with weird landscape (hills, junk, and random items everywhere) and sounds of an angry mob and a feeling, yes I could sense it, of pitchforks, torches, and general mob weaponry. I see Bart simpson running away, and the next thing I know, I'm throwing cereal and milk on the ground in front of the mob. Here comes the twist: when the mob steps on the cereal, they're INSTANTLY ELECTROCUTED and I fry most of the mob. The rest of them just disperse, and this dream sequence ends. Now for the final 'dream scene.'

I'm in some kind of Star Wars setting, shooting red exploding bombs at droids / drones. We were definately under attack. Kind of weird how whenever I shot a bomb my sight followed it until it exploded, then I went into my eyes again. Then, behind me / us (there were others around me, but I never paid attention to them) a bunch of crab / insect-like droids came up a ramp to our position! So what do I do? I fly into the air (NOT LUCID) get some cereal out of no where (NOT LUCID) and start throwing it on the ground with milk that was mixed in with the box (NOT LUCID). Then, the cereal (yup, you guessed it) electrocuted the robots (NOT LUCID) and I saved the dream. I woke up thinking, why the hell did I not notice something was off? Anyways, yea, weird series of dreams. They all seemed to be just one transition to the next. Not once did I become lucid.
