(Dream I had after going to bed last night—I wrote this down and 3:33 in the morning in my dream journal).
I’m sitting on a bus with other people. Standing sorta to the side of mom, I’m holding her hair back to look at her eyebrows. They’re really odd shaped and bushy. While I’m looking at her, it dawns on me that she looks like Jon BonJovi. Just as I’m thinking that, a girl from across the aisle on the bus says to us, wow your mother looks a lot like BonJovi. We laugh a little bit (mom is laughing too). I don’t have the sense that we’re making fun of her or that she is upset at all. She really does look like him.
After that Michael Jackson walks over to me and takes my hand in his. He asks me if I would come with him. I’m thinking to myself, I knew you were alive! I let him lead me to the front of the bus where he starts singing to me. I don’t remember the lyrics of the song, but I remember thinking how beautiful it was. I do remember the beat and the music though. So he’s singing this song to me and I’m totally star-struck and amazed. I look up at him and behind him I see this hugs screen and realize that we’re on it. I worry that everybody will now realize that he’s alive!
Now I’m on the farm at mom and dad’s house. Only it doesn’t look the same as their real house and farm. But it’s their place in my dream. So it’s raining really hard. I mean it’s pouring down rain outside. We’re all inside (mom, me, my son, and Dad). All of a sudden the ceiling starts leaking water in one corner. The small leak becomes a major leak and a stream of water is pouring into the corner of the house. I’m sitting on the couch, not aware of anybody else in the room. Seems I was alone at that moment. Next thing I know, that one leak turns into probably hundreds. All over the place water is streaming in. I don’t recall feeling or getting wet though. Anyway, dad comes into the living room with a canister with a pump on it. He starts spraying around the lights on the ceiling in the living room. I assume he’s spraying to protect the electric stuff since so much water is pouring in. I don’t question him I just observe him doing it. All of a sudden these three very large spider looking bugs drop from the ceiling onto the couch. You know what, actually I saw them come out from the ceiling where my dad was spraying and crawl across the ceiling before falling onto the couch next to me. I jump up and scream at the same time. I run to the center of the living room and when I look down at the floor there’s a bunch of those same bugs, all headed my way. I scream and run to the bedroom. I think it’s my son’s room. When I get in there, there’s a long line of bugs walking towards an Oreo bag. I Scream and run to the bathroom. My son comes in and hugs me, telling me that everything will be okay. When I look at him, I notice our reflection in the mirror behind him. I’m still really freaked out!
Next thing I know, I’m outside and it’s really sunny and pretty out. Mom and dad are at a picnic table or maybe just a bench. I’m not sure. I walk over to them and say wow; I guess the bugs were just trying to stay out of the rain. Mom gets really irritated (with dad). She looks at him and says no, that’s not what it is; because I’ve lived in other homes where that didn’t happen when it rains. Then she asks dad if he would go to the store now and get the supplies to fix the leaks in the ceiling. She is clearly angry at him for not fixing the leaks sooner. He leaves to go to the store.
Now I’m in the house again, with mom and dad...and I think my son. We’re eating dinner and for some reason I was calling mom Steve Tyler. She asks why I keep calling her that and I explain that he’s the lead singer of Aerosmith. There was some kind of joke going on about that, because mom and everybody (including me) laugh. We’re having a great time joking around.
Now this is a strange thing that happened: The only reason I woke up is because I heard (very clearly) my name being called. It was only one time and it seemed as though it was coming from the doorway to the bedroom. This didn’t seem like part of my dream, but maybe it was. I thought it seemed very strange though and it woke me up!

(Dream I remember from last night—after waking at 3:20 a.m. to write down earlier dream and returning to sleep until 8:00).
My son is little; maybe two or three years old. He cries and cries grabbing his ear so I assume he has an ear infection. I take him to the doctor several times. Every time the doctor tells me that nothing is wrong with him. There’s no infection. I’m frustrated and I start to get angry. I tell the doctor that SOMETHING is wrong or he wouldn’t be crying and grabbing his ear all the time. What am I supposed to do? He’s in pain. I get home and my son is on the floor. A friend comes over and sees that he’s in pain. I tell her what has been going on and what the doctor says. She says to me, hang on a second, watch this. She walks over to him and uses a flashlight and some instrument to look into his ear. She pulls out this very long, skinny, odd-shaped branch from his ear! After that he stops crying and he’s no longer in any kind of pain.
