    1. Lucid dream number nine

      by , 02-06-2011 at 11:50 AM
im standing there and i pull my hand to my nose. I think to myself I'm dreaming! I contemplate what I should do. I fly around a little bit, then think I should do something epic. I see a railing like the frame of a roller coaster that goes up and does some twists. I jump up onto it spinning at odd angles and keeping my balance. As i jump onto it i think about what I can feel. I think about what it is like to be every particle of matter in the universe. I hear a lot of noise (voices chattering unintelligibly), but see nothing. I find myself somewhere else. I think to do a reality check and realize I'm dreaming. I stabilize the dream because it feels weak. After rubbing the ground, which is a hard wood floor that feels amazingly realistic, i notice a black garbage bag in my right hand and I feel that too. I remember I need to try to use all my senses so I try to get some food. I look around and all i can see is boxes of kraft dinner, so thats all I can think of but i really want a cookie. I close my eyes for a microsecond and picture a nice, round, doughy, stereotypical chocolate chip cookie. I open my eyes again and past a bowl of kraft dinner there is a chocolate chip cookie with kraft dinner in it. I eat it but i dont remember the taste. I wake up.

As a side note i had been drinking the night before, and have not had a lucid in a week or two.

    2. Lucid dream #4: Flying

      by , 01-24-2011 at 05:06 AM
I am half awake and realize I am dreaming. I don’t know how I managed to stay asleep, but apparently my dream senses were still intact because I managed to rub the ground in my dream while being more awake than not. I rub the ground and kept my eyes shut and I keep focusing on the dream and I start to fall backwards, rolling as I fall. I keep telling myself I’m dreaming as I fall. I realize that I am falling through the sky, heading downwards. My first thought is that if I can’t manage to fly, I’ll hit the ground and there will be a big explosion as if I were a meteor, but I will be fine. Almost immediately after I finish the thought, I roll over and put my arms out and am flying. I fly for a short while, not feeling any wind or seeing much of the ground or anything really around me, then I’m in my room. I am struggling not to be in the same position as my sleep body. I feel everything, and breathe in the air. I taste my mouth and am amazed by how realistic everything is. (*I think the taste in my mouth was actually my waking sense because it’s the same taste I’ve got now and I need to brush my teeth*) I am rolling around trying to stand up. I struggle with trying to get up and be steady for what seems like 2 or 3 minutes. My walls and roof have small metal circles every 6 inches or so, covering the entire left wall and roof. I don’t really see towards the wall where my desk is, but I’m fairly sure I see my desk. I look to the right wall where the head of my bed is, and between my bed and my desk there is a window. I think to myself, I was just flying ... a girl I know should be tapping me on the shoulder right now. Very shortly after I think this I wake up.
