    Non-Lucid Dreams

    1. Intense emotions

      by , 12-05-2011 at 03:45 PM
Before bed last night I decided I would chug some apple juice, a know vividity supplement. I only remember one dream from last night but if my perception of time in the the dream was accurate it lasted about an hour. I was in the game Mass Effect 2 and we had crashed on a cold and snowy planet, I was guided by a rugged man in his late 50's. We found a crashed spaceship and decided to explore it. It was drafty in the inside, the first room we entered was large and done shaped. In the midlle of the room was a large engine. My guide said that this was an older engine model and the energy waves that it put out temporarily altered human brain waves (it was an alien vessel). He said the effects of the enigine where not harmfull at all, they were in fact enlightening. The different engine settings (I believe there were five) each brought you to a higher level of conscious existence. With each change of the motor came a new emotion along with other sensory input that can't be put into words. By the 5th cycle I was in a complete sensory overload yet I had complete inner peace. A bright light filled my field of vision and I was transported to the door of a warehouse where a gun battle was under way. I watched as the battle ensued until I woke up.
    2. Beach House

      by , 11-21-2011 at 03:36 PM
I remember two dreams from last night plus the emotional ghost of another one. You know when you know you had a dream and when you try and remember it you think "that was a nice dream, but I have no idea WTF it was about", Its that. The first dream I had I was with a friend of mine and we were going to his beach house with a few other people. His mom was driving for some reason. I was in the front seat and we were taking back roads. We constantly had to stop to avoid running over dogs who were all chasing squirrels. When we got there I asked his mom why she had seemed so mad at me. She said she wasn't mad, my pants were inside out and It was aggravating her. I turned my pants right-side out and she was happy. We went inside and I woke up, I was able to catch the awakening in like 2 seconds but I had already shifted my body position so the DEILD didn't work. When I woke up in the morning I remembered a fragment of another dream in which I was at a wrestling tournament. I was talking to someone and I had a small entourage. I was either consoling the person or giving them advice. My dad thought I was still sleeping when I was writing in my dream journal so he banged on the door really loud for an unnecessary amount of time (akin to a military wake up) and it ran the rest of the dream out of my head.
    3. Large truck

      by , 11-19-2011 at 07:55 PM
I had dream where I was driving a large truck. It was an older model (probably 1980's) and I was having trouble controlling it. Not like "trouble turning the wheel" control but it wouldn't brake when I braked and sometimes would turn in the complete opposite direction I turned the wheel. This often led me to weaving through oncoming traffic. Not the most fun dream I've ever had. There was also something about rigging the car with a remote control but I don't know how or where that fits in.
    4. Science Class

      by , 11-18-2011 at 03:33 PM
This morning I was able to remember my dream more completely than in nights before but I was only able to remember one (I didn't wake up when my WBTB alarm went off). I was in a science classroom and the people in the class were all the kids from my wrestling team. My wrestling coach was the teacher. He was talking to us about some charity that we should give to then he switched to complaining about where the money went (something about two murderers in Pennsylvania). He wanted us to donate the money to the wrestling team.
While he was talking I was looking through my friends text messages on his Droid. I asked him how much it cost and he said it was 1,000 a month but every third month it was far more expensive. I had a glass of water and it was empty so I was eating the ice in it, one of the ice cubes was a small egg (no shell) and everyone thought it was funny that I spit it out. I didn't get the feeling that it was a prank, instead that eggs were usually in in glasses of water and most people had the common sense to avoid them.
    5. Three frags (progress!)

I am remembering my dreams now! At least more than I was a week ago. The only real problem I have now is I am so tired when I write in my DJ I usually have my eyes closed. Needless to say my handwriting (which isn't to great to begin with) is rather awful when my eyes are closed. I remember parts of the dream but the best thing to do would be to write down the bullets directly from my DJ.

      - Asian landlord lady is really mean and weird
      - Giant poisonous cricket (crushed him in the pickup truck when I sat down)
      - shower on the stove
      - Make great reality TV show

(I swear to God this is what it says) - looked at pin on iPod yogurt bike
      - girl from Reynolds
      - preheat up truck

      - Party, invited to by parents
      - they didn't get me ticket I had to stay outside, not mad
      - I invited taz, he had a fake mustache, I had mine to but hard to put on
      - he wasn't mad we couldn't go, sat in car with fake mustache

There was also something about a bottle of bitter pink champagne but I couldn't tell which one it was part of

    6. Another fragment

      by , 11-16-2011 at 04:58 PM
My dream recall has not improved from the night before last. It would be naive of me to expect that it would have but whatever, I want to remember my dreams. I remembered fragments of a dream from last night that when pieced together made minimal sense at best. I was at home and my dad was showing of a new antique-esque blue stair case that had replaced the one on the far side of our porch. The problem is that the one we have now is only one step (hardly a staircase), our house is on an incline and that side of the porch is maybe 1.5 feet from the ground. The staircase he added had around 7 or 8 steps and the laws of physics had to bend for it to fit between the porch and ground (still didn't realize I was dreaming). He was also trying to teach one of our dogs to play fetch without the other. There was also something about a really hot pot of coffee in our garage, I don't know exactly how that fits in.

    7. Starting to get frustrated

      by , 11-15-2011 at 03:27 PM
I remembered part of a dream from last night but the recent problems with recall are starting to get on my nerves. I had 100+ percent of my DVA for all B vitamins (earlier in the day), did a complete day journal before I went to bed, set my WBTB timer for 4 in the morning. And put my journal on my nightstand. I don't even remember waking up to turn off the WBTB alarm so I probably didn't do any WILD attempts. When I woke up at the regular time I was able to write down a fragment of a dream that I was having. I was in the locker room at school and I was with a friend and some woman. The woman and my friend were arguing about a pair of pants, he said that the pants made him look like he was 37 (years old) when he was actually 47 (strange because he is a sophomore in highschool) and woman said he was to old to be wearing those pants. From what I can remember I was just an observer. It was a really stupid dream but at least I remembered some of it. Hopefully my recall will bounce back to its former glory.

I was with my uncle, we were going on a mission trip to India because he felt bad about something and wanted to make it right. Then I was in a library with incredibly vivid colors, there were two homeless people and one of the was doing acid and freaking out. I picked up a table to defend myself and the dream ended.
