    1. Late to Work...

      by , 02-27-2014 at 10:13 AM
I start off in a closet of an old house I don't know. I just remember I was upstairs and in a big room, it was time for me to sleep, but instead of being on the large bed in the middle of the room, I was in the closet with a small pillow and a sleeping bag. I suddenly realized that I was going to be late for work. I got up really fast and ran to the bathroom to take a shower, but when I looked in the mirror, my hair wasn't a mess except for a little tuft sticking up. I decided that I would skip my shower and just go to work. I ended up outside standing in the middle of a busy road. The sun was still rising, so I knew I wouldn't be too late if I ran, but I ended up running to the house I came from. I remember thinking that I was filling in for someone at another pharmacy, so I would just skip because I couldn't really get in trouble since they haven't called me yet. The next thing I remember, I was in a pharmacy and working. It wasn't like any place I've ever been before... it seemed like it was a library that had walls of which were set up like obstacles in a pinball machine. I remember the wood being dark brown, and there were four, big monitors on the back wall. I also had a pogo stick. I was at work (at least, my dream work) but I still had an overwhelming feeling that I was late for another place I was supposed to fill in at. I took my pogo stick and hopped outside. I was a fast hopper. I could hop probably 20 feet forward in each hop. I remember that I had GPS vision as well. Wherever I went had a line I was supposed to follow. I hopped down a street and got to a large parking garage. The garage was also a ramp to get onto the highway. I remember seeing the GPS lead me to the highway, but I thought it was dangerous, so I took the stairs on the side to go up and hopefully around. Hopping up stairs on a pogo stick was surprisingly easy. On my way up, there was a red sports car speeding around the ramp and I was afraid it would not see me and crash into me. I didn't see it after the first time it passed me. Just before the highway entrance about half way up the ramp (there was more than one entrance to the highway) I saw a few kids (I'm uncertain of how many exactly there were) playing in a small, secluded space. They were trying to throw stuff at each other like cans and bunched-up newspapers. They spotted me and approached me. I thought I'd humor them, so when they threw stuff at me, I dramatically acted as if I was shot by a gun. They laughed, but I told them that I had to go. Eventually, I was one level short of the top of the parking ramp, but there was an exit that led to an area outside near a small town just outside an ocean. I hopped out there and there was sand on the road that had blown up from the beach. I then followed the signal from my GPS, but I didn't think it was right, so I zoomed out and it was just a big rectangle around the beach and its outskirts. I decided that I would walk out on a boardwalk. There was a small shack at the end of the boardwalk on the right hand side of it, and a small picnic table just in front of it. I took a seat. There was an old man serving food. I then realized that I was old and British. The man serving food first brought out a large bucket of what seemed like dark reddish-purple spaghetti. The texture was almost that of canned cranberry sauce, just a little more durable. I took some out and splat it on the table. I don't remember eating any of it. Then instead of me being an old British man, I was myself, but I was sitting across from the old man I just was. The man serving food offered me a beef sub. It was like a french dip, but it looked like a normal sub. It tasted amazing. I remember that french dips are really good with au jus, so I asked for it. The man said he had never heard of that before, but he had some apple juice. He poured me a cup. I got pretty upset about it, and that's all I remember before waking up.
