Wishfulthinker

I spent the half term doing lots with the family and I read the lyrics to The Gambler written down with a message from, my old house parent from my boarding hostel Stanley House, Dae saying I might have been in it when they performed it at the variety show (some of my friends had been 'singing' the lyrics on Facebook the evening before. I've never heard the song before)
Then I went to the mess (a military dining hall and bar and accommodation) on my military base with my boyfriend and my parents, it was really really busy and it was laid out really strangely with completely different room configuration to normal. I was stood talking with the three other people I was in the building with when my dad suddenly saw the people from the farm (I don't know anyone who lives on a farm. Who these people actually are, I have no idea) and they've had a flood there. They're trying to fix and sell the farm. George then turns around and says we should buy the farm. We go to the farm and look at it and agree to buy it.

I'm in London with George and my parents when all of a sudden this Japanese tourist, who is a student, falls into the Thames. I run over to see if he is alright. Miraculously he is out of the Thames and standing by the railings. As I walk up to him, trying to check he's alright, he turns and starts to sprint away. I run after him, intent on making sure he's fine, and after we've twisted and turned through narrow streets along side the Thames I watch him get picked up via piggyback by his teacher (no idea how I knew that) and then watch them both run away into the distance. Then I stand there and wait for my parents and George to catch up with me.
