    1. Strange Dream

by , 07-02-2013 at 04:46 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
Last night, I had a dream that didn't really make sense:

Apparently, in the dream, a fan that is painted the color red can cause someone to pass out or something.
So then this "war" started between me (with some friends of mine) and some other team or something. I don't really know.

Anyway, a "war" took place. They attempted to raid us a few times, and we attempted to raid them a few times. I don't remember how exactly the raids worked, but I'm pretty sure that they involved the red fans. After a few raids, things turn a bit different.

The dream suddenly turns into some weird form of the Civ Stage in Spore. Their "base" is a bit more detailed in this part. It looks like a small restaurant that sells burgers. Anyway, my friend launches an ICBM that destroys their restaurant thing and then the war is over.

      Then I woke up.
    2. The Hurricane

by , 07-21-2012 at 02:11 AM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
      Info:
This is a nightmare fragment I had a long time ago. It's extremely blurry and watered down after all these years. I've done my best to fill in the holes and restore it.

      Dream:
The dream starts out in a modified version of my neighborhood. I'm in the driveway next door. It's completely overcast, very windy, and raining very hard. I look up to the sky. The clouds are dark, and moving across the sky at an incredible speed. Worried, I talk to someone nearby. They tell me I'm safe as long as I remain in the driveway. I walk away and continue to watch the raging hurricane, unconvinced.
    3. Meeting Eric Hartman

by , 07-03-2012 at 08:39 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
I've been playing a bit too much Blockland recently, and now it's starting to affect my dreams (just like when I was addicted to Minecraft). I've had Blockland since 2009, and I've been quite addicted to it recently. Anyway, last night I had a dream where I met "Badspot", the creator of Blockland.

There was some type of convention going on for Blockland; there wern't too many people there, but there was a fairly decent amount. It was outside, and the crowd was just having a good time. At one point I spoke to him briefly. The DC that I saw in the dream doesn't look anything like Badspot in RL, because I've seen pictures of him before. Not much happened in the dream, and my recall of it is kind of fragmented, so I'm going to set it as a "dream fragment."

As a side note, I've also had dreams where I've met or seen the developers of Minecraft while I was addicted to it. I'll get around to writing those in some time.

    4. Dream Guide... ?!?!

by , 07-03-2012 at 08:21 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
Sorry for the lack of entries lately. However, I have something to make it up; my most WILD experience ever (It's funny because this actually involves WILDs ).

I would like to start off by saying this was a non-lucid dream. The main issue here is that all of the dream's details are scrambled pretty badly. Each detail is split into two, and both halves are basically the opposite. I can't tell if the advice was written or being spoken aloud. If it was spoken aloud, then it was one of the following: a powerful, god-like voice that seemed to echo in all directions; and a weak, nerd-like voice. In the spoken aloud case, one detail is clear: my dream guide is male. I was actually expecting it to be female, because it's very common for people to have dream guides of the opposite gender.

I don't know what to make of this, but I know what he told me. I remember exactly what he said, but not in words, not in sounds, and not in pictures. I remember it in code; and I'm not talking about something like binary, numbers, letters, symbols or anything else. I can only remember and describe it in pure thought and nothing else.

I am unable to translate my DG's advice into words; all I can tell you is this: Recently I've been struggling greatly with WILD. My DG has giving me some advice with it. He insists that it is almost guaranteed to help me and that I should expect to finally do a WILD successfully tonight as long as I put forth enough effort. Unfortunately, I cannot share his advice because it involves personal information. Plus, both me and my dream guide agree that this method would be ineffective to the vast majority of lucid dreamers out there.

I understand that this is all very difficult to understand and believe, but it is true and I promise no lies were spoken in this entry; if I have deceived, mislead or confused you in any possible way, please know that I did not have any intent of doing so. I assure you that I'm quite confused myself. I've heard of shared dreaming and all, but I've never heard of anything like this.

If you have anything to say on the matter, PLEASE let me know!
    5. Sony Vegas?

by , 05-23-2012 at 01:17 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
A tiny dream fragment. I remember editing a video in Sony Vegas. That's all I can remember.
    6. Storm?

by , 05-11-2012 at 08:14 AM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
I remember seeing that it was pouring rain somewhere nearby, but not a single drop near us. It's funny because the same type of stuff has been happening in RL lately.
    7. WBTB Fail

by , 05-11-2012 at 08:11 AM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
Last night, I had a FA. I was in bed. I was thinking about doing a WBTB. Unfortunately, my thoughts were too sluggish (Because it was a dream) and I thought WBTB required you to not move at all after waking up. Should have done a reality check. Note to self: Do a reality check whenever I even think about lucid dreaming.

    8. "Don't even try to hug me!"

by , 05-11-2012 at 08:04 AM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
My dream recall has been poor lately. I'm glad to finally have some odd dreams for this DJ. This is my most random dream so far.

I was at school sitting on a bench and waiting for my bus to arrive. I had absolutely no clothes on (O_o). I got up and was about to walk somewhere when a random DC came up to me and said "Don't even try to hug me!"

I can't really remember what happened after that.

DCs can be so silly sometimes.

    9. Minecraft - I Saw The End

by , 05-06-2012 at 04:56 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
      Minecraft addiction

I was mining in a cave (In the game, of course) when I came across something odd. There was this hole, and in it I saw The End. I saw the obsidian towers as well as the Ender Dragon flying around. This was not an end portal. It was something different. I couldn't go into it, I couldn't mine it, and there was no frame.
I mined around this hole, and found it was no hole at all. It was actually a few blocks that had videos of The End on them, which made it look like a hole. I wanted to go in there. At this point, the dream goes from fairly vivid to a complete blur. I tried a few things to get in, but they all failed.

For some reason, this dream makes me feel some type of emotion I can't put my finger on. I think it's nostalgia, but why would that be? I've had Minecraft since 1.0.0, which was not long ago at all. If this dream reminds me of something that brings out nostalgia in me, I have no idea what it is. I'm quite confused because of that.

    10. First lucid dream!!!!!!!!!!!

by , 04-26-2012 at 02:42 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
Holy crap, I just had my first lucid dream!!!!

I focused on this dreamk for a good 45 minutes or so, and I managed to recall plenty of information. I'm still going to consider this a dream fragment though. I was barely lucid during this dream. In fact, I wasn't even lucid enough to remember the "more lucidity" dream command.

It turns out I did a reality check in a dream. I tried to stabilize the dream, but it didn't work at all. The only thing I thought to do was fly. I would've done a LOT more, but I was barely even lucid at all.

I flew for a short while, but I mostly focused on "Swimming in mid-air". I swam through the air as if it was water. This was really cool, and it was the most vivid part of the dream.

I never did anything other than flying, sadly.

I was only slightly lucid. In fact, so slightly that I still wonder if it was actually a lucid dream or not. I don't really care. This was my first taste of lucid dreaming, and I'm just speechless!

This happened last night when I was trying a new method of attaining lucidity. I'll post it here when I find it. http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/activa...cidity-130989/

(I also remember talking to a DC at one point. That's three goals completed in one lucid dream!)

    11. The Evil Exploding Computer?!?!?!?!

by , 04-25-2012 at 11:55 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
I had this dream when I was about 5. I was in my house. I walked into a room and there was a Macintosh computer on a desk. As I approached it, a message box came up with a picture of a bomb, accompanied by a female robotic voice speaking in a foreign language. I ran.

The rest of the dream is a complete blur.
    12. False Awakening in a Non-Lucid Dream?

by , 04-24-2012 at 01:04 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
I had a (kind of) false awakening in a non-lucid dream. Not sure if this would be considered a false awakening or not, though.

Keep in mind that this was a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago. I'm shocked I still remember it.

I was dreaming. That's all I really remember. I dreamed of waking up, but some odd things were happening. Everybody's power was flickering on and off. The rest was really fuzzy.

All I remember is that everybody's lights were flickering on and off, and making some clicking noise as they did. It wasn't really a nightmare, just some odd dream.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I have a feeling I was slightly lucid for a few seconds during this dream!

    13. Dogs in the Vehicle & Evil Kitty... ?

by , 04-24-2012 at 12:54 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
      Dream fragment.

We were going somewhere when both of our dogs and a stray cat decided to hop in the vehicle without us knowing. We drove to some place where there were a few cats; one of which was sitting on someone's van. I was walking up the driveway when the smallest cat bolted around the van, seemingly out of nowhere. It then bit me with razor-sharp teeth. Believe it or not, this wasn't really a nightmare.

This dream was worth notice because it was the most vivid dream I have ever had (Still not that vivid). Another reason is because I felt what it was like when something was hurting you in a dream: Nothing. I could literally feel the cat's teeth sinking into my skin as it bit me, but there was no pain.

      Spoiler for Picture:
