The ancient Christians prophesised that the dead would rise and a giant dragon would appear in the sky soonish. The ancient Norse prophesised that the fire giant Surtr would consume the world with fire. The planetary alignment in question in question is a regular occurence, and has happened multiple time since the 1920s. Oh dear. Give me the source of the mayan prophecies about that eclipse; and I'll be minorly interested.
