      Weird problem with WILD

      Hey there.

I'm writing here, again, because since the last time i wrote here i did a lot of progress but i still have a problem.

I managed to have 2 DEILD already and 1 WILD which happened yesterday. Today in the morning i tried another WILD and almost succeeded. I had a lot of DEILD failed in the middle (since i started WILDing) because of this problem i'll talk about.

Well, what's happening is the following. My first DEILD failed because i got scared either of the shaking (1st time, now i overcome it), the burst of light i kept getting (i do't get it anymore but i think i could overcome it this time if i had it again) and lately because i feel a pressure in some parts of my body (mainly my shoulder).

First time i felt this pressure i had an evil presence sensation and the point of pressure was my head. It just felt like a giant animal was putting its face against my head. It scared the crap out of me. In another time i felt the same pressure but it was on the shoulder. I aborted the attempt again because i tought it was really strange.

This night as i said before i tried again imbued in hope because i had finally achieved a WILD in the night before. I went to the point i heard a buzz in my hears (had it already in another attempt) and i felt the same pressure on my shoulder. I was decided to overcome it so i didn't care. A while after it felt like something was pulling myself out of my body, like a hand (now i see why some people believe its an out of body experience), in a movement upwards. After a while i felt as if it left its intention. Then i felt it again on the shoulder and i was grabbed and pulled towards the end of my bed. I was with my stomach turned towards the end of the bed when i opened my eyes (at least i had that vision, don't know if i was already in a dream scenary or just allucinating). Was so damn realistic that i got scared again and aborted the attempt. When i awake for real i could see i was in the same place in bed and that it was an alucination.

It was a really intense experience. I want to overcome it, so i can get in a dream like i did 2 nights ago.

When i had the 1st WILD i didnt get this pressure thing, i was trying to WILD and suddenly i felt my eyes open and a dream appeared. I was in my room and the daylight came in through the window (usually i don't have it in a way that the daylight can come in, so i knew i was dreaming right at the beginning). Now i can't manage to enter a dream again, i always get to the part of the allucinations and SP and don't progress forward...

Help me plz, if you can. Should i wait for this to calm down and then i'll find myself in a dream? Or should i take a more active role in this part by doing something (need a suggestion xD)? I don't like much being grabbed and thrown to places by allucinations, lol.

you can do one of two things....wait it out and see what happens, or try to imagine or visualize something while it's happening to get it off of your mind.

Normally I try to wait it out, and there are some small chances that the dreams don't start, or i want to be in a certain scene, or the things i'm experiencing are a little too intense...so I start visualizing the scene, and tell myself that I'm going to enter a dream soon, and remind myself that none of the things that are going on aren't real.

I hope this works out for you. let me know how it goes.

My visualization isn't great imo. Anyway i'll try it this night or tomorrow as i'll have to wake up early after this night.

I guess it probably is better to try to manipulate the situation than be thrown around in my bed (at least in my mind) by an invisible force like a ragdoll, lol.

By the way, is there any way to know you are already in sleep paralysis? I usually try to move the least so i don't really know when i get to that point. I experienced it sometimes though when i tried to abort some attempts. Usually i found myself incapable of moving and it lasted for a while but now i'm getting used to it so it doesn't bother me much.

Thanks for your help. If anyone has any other suggestion post it please so i can try some and see which suits me best. Īt's great to find myself so close to WILDing at will as i almost had 2 WILDs in consecutive nights.

P.S.: Ah, for some reason my MILDs aren't working anymore (for a time i had them working almost everyday) has anyone got any suggestions to overcome this MILD dry spell?

      Hallucinations can be scary!

Although, I've never personally experienced anything scary.

The best thing to remember is that it's not real. It's hard to overcome at first, but sooner or later you'll learn to ignore such sensations. Or atleast I hope you do

As for the question you asked me personally, The Old Hag is the feeling of something being pressed against your chest, and the difficulty to breath (which is also a hallucination). As I said in another thread, the worst possible thing that could happen is that if you open your eyes you might see some monster or demon sitting on you choking you. But I don't think anyone has really ever experienced that around here.

I would suggest just laying there and doing your best to ignore the scary sensations. And most importantly, DO NOT BE AFRAID! Being afraid can make the hallucinations worse.

      Ok, thanks for your reply.
It was scary indeed but i wanted to try to go through it. Although i managed to stay calm and avoid bad toughts (i don't remember having any) it went to the point i felt myself being pushed out of bed. I think i'll need some time to overcome it maybe later i'll remember it and find it fun, lol. I'll keep trying. Is there any post with the types of allucinations categorized? Like the ones that have been reported by people. It would be funny to read a list of them and see the most weird, lol.

Visual Hallucinations - Anything you see like things crawling on your walls or people being in the room.

Auditory Hallucinations - Things you hear like screaming, or explosions.

Unusual Body Experiences - Like the feeling you get when you feel like you're being thrown off your bed.

"The old hag" - I think there's another name for this, but it's feeling that you can't breathe.

Intruder - Ever get that feeling that someone else is in the room with you, but no one is actually there? That's the "Intruder" hallucination.

Those are only a couple of examples, but they should give you the jist of what they are.
