      Kaiern9999's Workbook

Hello DV's, my name is Kai. I am a 14 year old boy from norway! I speak norwegian, english, nynorsk and some french. I have had lucid dreams since i was pretty young. They were not very good dreams, ofcourse. Lucid dreaming sparked a flame in me. This is something i would really, really like to master. I'm starting out with DILD's since that is what i have experience with.

Here is some info about my dreams and how i go about getting them
      - I usually realize i'm dreaming without a RC.
      - I RC about 10 times a day (i try to improve)
      - I mediate around 15-20 min every day.
      - I use mantras in both my RC's and before bed.
      - My RC is: ''Am i dreaming?'' I feel the things around me, try to use my senses. I examine my hands, and after examining i try to push my thumb through my left hand. I then nose-plug. And at last, i say my mantra: ''Next time i'm dreaming, i RC.''
      - My most common dreams signs are games/game-like things, magic/super-powers, friends/family and my hometown/house.
      - I take melatonin because of neck-pain.
      - I take b6 after i have had 3 LD's, like a type of reward system.
      - I am doing sivason dream yoga, albeit the early stages.
      - I am also working in the ''intro class'' course.
      - I have a dream journal, and copy my dreams onto DV's dream journal page.
      - I have a problem stabilizing my dream.

Just some general info about me and my dreams If i have any questions regard DILD's i will post them here. I will also post my unusual DILD experiences.

Damnit, didn't remember any dreams tonight. I think it was because i didn't really get fired up for the idea of a lucid dream, let this be learning experience

Hei! Welcome to the DILD workbooks! At 14 years of age, multi-lingual and meditating, I would guess that you are not the average guy. Nice! What do you feel you need to work on for having more DILDs? The only issues I see that you mentioned were stabilizing and no recall last night. Do you normally have good recall? Try not to say that you have a problem stabilizing your dreams as that tends to reinforce that idea in your subconscious. There are some great stabilization tips throughout the site, but maybe I can help as well with that aspect if you tell me more about what usually happens.

      Hello, thanks for the feedback.

Normally i would remember 2-4 dreams every night, the last 3 days has been troubling since my schoolyear is ending, but as my vacation starts, i plan on making tons of progress in the world of Lucid Dreaming. As for the stabilizisation issue, i have just recently started stabilizing (or trying, atleast), i believe the biggest reason i cant execute it that well is simply lack of practice.

That definitely makes sense. You might also want to check out this "hidden" jewel on Dreamviews:

This one is similar but also reinforces some of what you read in the other:

I'll take you up on that offer actually. Most of my dreams that i remember and are lucid in are AFTER i initially wake, and go back to bed. The problem is these dreams are quite unstable and short. How can i get lucid in the ''real'' dreams?

Sorry for the delayed response. Dreams after wake back to bed can absolutely be stable and long. You might want to find your "sweet spot" though which would basically be the number of hours into your night where you most often find your dreams are more vivid and feature better recall. For most people it seems to be around the 5 to 6 hour mark, but everyone is different. It can just take some experimenting with the ideal WBTB time and amount of time awake. After how many hours do you typically "wake and go back to bed?"

No worries. I see you have quite a few of your goals checked off and it seems like you LD count is higher than in the beginning of your workbook. It sounds like you are doing good!
