Running/Fighting causing me to lose lucidity?

      Hey there, guys.

Last night, I had two very nice and very lucid dreams. However, relatively similar situations caused me to drop from lucidity in both of them.

First one, I was being ganged up on by a group of dogs. I tried fighting them, but woke up in the middle of it.

The second one, I was running away from a guy, through a field. During the running, I ended up waking up.

Is there something with high-octane, intense situations that causes a person to lose lucidity, or what? If so, what can I do to stop this in the future?

      Thanks. -Jack.

Fly, my pretty, fly away, don't let the mean people hurt you....
But seriously, I avoid intense situations, just point at them and say "DELETE"
Works like a charm. Or I guess you could fly away.

Yeah, excitement can be a dream killer. I usually wake up in the middle of dreams that include "Makin' Whoopee!".

But go with sergon's advice. I would love to have a DELETE button in real life xD

Just don't get tunnel vision, when your doing w/e keep reminding yourself your dreaming. Use your senses constantly too.

easy, stop fighting/running/going against whatever is happening. you know youre dreaming so you know you can do whatever you want. confront whatever is attacking/chasing/bothering you and ask them why theyre doing it.
