What specifically do you mean by "dream scaping"

In the past, I've had all kinds of power in my dreams. I could change the environment or people around me. I could change who I was... i could change into a wizard or a star fighter pilot, I could summon dragons.... all kinds of stuff, and the best power, for me, was that I was finally able to get rid of things or people that would come up with me and distract me from the real plot of the dream so that I could bring the dream to a conclusion, like in a movie.

      Dreamscape defined

That is when you can enter someone elses dream. Connecting, and both of you recall the events of the dream. I guess you could call it, "linking". I attempted linking with friends for greater than a year, it seems the closer we got the harder it was to stay focus on the objective. It was like there was distractions, little dreams blocking me from reaching my friend. Well, hope that helps. nice to see people talking.

Now that would be something. I have definitely got to try that, once I can get on some decent medication that allows me to have normal sleeping patterns.

      New here

Wow... I have been doing what I call "programming my dreams" for years. I am 39 and have been doing this since I was a teenager. Now it is like breathing... very effortless.

Over the years I have "taught" 2 other friends to do this. About a year ago I met a man who wants to meet up in our dreams (I guess this is what you call dreamscaping) but I haven't been interested. Maybe I should try it. Anyway, I saw "Vanilla Sky" and I have been so intrigued with the concept of lucid dreams I did a web search and found this site. I didn't realize all these terms and thingsexisted. VERY interesting. I just thought it was somehtign I do to stay sane... (so far, so good!)
I couldn't figure out why the frisbee kept getting bigger... and then it hit me.

      hard anxiety

I went to your website and I really think alot of you for being able to open up and share your problems like you have. I suffer from manic depression myself and it seems like people are so scared to talk about deseases of the brain like it's a weakness. I say it's a desease like diabetes, accept it effects our most delicate organ...the brain, and the brain is the most unexplored territory, so treatment is sometimes more difficult.....Good luck to you

I don't know if anyone actually has the ability to do this at will, though I know of people who have inadvertantly done it. Its a very interesting concept and just one more thing that we can't figure out through science.
