Relatively Frequent Lucid Dreams Without Euphoric Feeling After Waking

I have lucid dreams about once a month, sometimes less, and a lot of the time it's when I suddenly realize I'm dreaming because I start flying. The lucidity continues for what seems to be at least a minute or two, but I only ever had a very euphoric and exhilarating feeling after my first real lucid dream. It is still really exciting and I love when it happens, but can anyone tell me why I might not be feeling the special feeling afterwards?

      Thank you!

Have you tried playing music in your dreams? The best feelings I have had are from listening to my favorite tracks, especially euphoric vocal trance!

That's a really good idea. Do you mean listening to music while I'm sleeping or do you mean recalling music in my mind while I'm in a lucid dream? I hope I remember to try that next time!

Both, but I have had better luck listening to music on a timer while I am sleeping.

Maby you need to become more lucid and then enjoy it. Getting lucid isn't like getting high, you won't just suddenly feel euphoric. That comes from being excited and so happy that you finaly acheived something so amazing that a lot of people don't even know about. If you arn't more clear minded you might not really make this realization!

Maybe do some really exciting and odd things
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

Set some goals, try the TOTM, or plan some interesting/unique things to try. If you have something to strive for, it may feel more rewarding to succeed.
