Lucid dream still doesn't feel like reality? barely any control?l

How do I make my lucid dream feel more like reality? I had my second lucid dream this morning and it was much more improvement--I had more control (well I told myself I have more control), it was more vivid. However, I couldn't do anything. All i could do was jump & fly from buildings. I couldn't change anything around me, teleport, or change anyone. It was like just real world. It didn't feel like reality at all. How do I increase my control? Do I need to have more dreams to make it feel like reality?

Well flying and jumping from buildings is far more control than many experience in their 2nd lucid dream

You can make lucid dreams more vivid and 'life-like' by using stabilisation techniques: http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/ninas-...torial-118317/

I think maybe you where not fully lucid, but just Semi-Lucid. So that your conscious brain will just not allow you to do things you can't do in real life, because it doesn't expect it to happen. Therefore just remember when you get Lucid next time, that you can do it, tell yourself that it is your dream and you control it and can do whatever you want in it, maybe also say it out loudly.

Also don't be demotivated by these experiences, because experiences in Lucid Dreams vary from person to person, some can immediately fly and control everything and others first need experience and more dreams to investigate how they can achieve these things. For some it would also be a huge step to fly already in their second Lucid Dream, so you're on the right track :-)

      Hey!

Like everyone else said...it's only your second lucid dream! They will get better with time.

Did you stabilize the lucid? I recommend stabilizing the dream as soon as you become lucid. Ctharlhie gave a good tutorial on stabilizing your dreams. Also the biggest thing with dream control is expectation and confidence. Except something to happen and be confident that it will. I also recommend you check out this dream control article. It links to a bunch of other great threads as well! Good luck
