      Question Lucid dreams?(Newbie)

Hello, my name is Artur and I heard a lot about lucid dream and I was wondering how to get one.

Any suggestions on how to get one?

This is my first time(and new to this forum), so sorry if there's a explanation somewhere on the forum that I didn't see.

Well, a good start would be to go to a website called www.dreamviews.com and read some of the articles/tutorials.

It also wouldn't be a bad idea to read some of the forum posts.

The home page of DreamViews does indeed link to nearly all of the basic information and tutorials.

You can also explore the forum and the WIKI (link at the top of the page). Definitions, tutorials and user guides can all be found there.

I suggest beginning your efforts by keeping a daily dream journal and writing down all the dreams you remember each day. This will improve your recall and tell your brain that dreams are important memories that should be retained. This will increase the likelihood of having a lucid dream.

If you need more help feel free to post your questions!

Thank you for your post I will start a dream journal and write in it everyday.
I also have one more question: does deep breathing affect the chance of remembering a dream? Because I almost never remember my dreams, but when I try deep breathing I almost always remember it.

This night I did deep breathing, and I had a very lucid like dream, I remember that I was trying out a lot of things like: teleporting, flying(a little), talking with people and saying that this is a dream.
I could control some things but when I woke up I got this feeling that it was a regular dream that I couldn't control.

I don't know if deep-breathing helps the general populace but it can't hurt. If you find success with it keep it up!

What I do know is there are no real hard rules to dreaming, and what works for one person may not work for others. Try out anything you find interesting, and give each new method at least two weeks before changing it or switching.

If you knew it was a dream while you were dreaming then you would call it a lucid dream. I understand the confusion, some of my dreams are way too vivid even when I'm not lucid. Think about the dreams and decide for yourself. It's common to get excited when you become lucid, but not required.
