I just recently had my first Lucid dream that I explicitly planned (I'm pretty sure it was a MILD because I instantly think "I'm dreaming" as the dream starts, no rc although I probably should have done one anyway, but I was quite confident I was dreaming)

However I noticed I felt very tired in the dream. The dream kept blurring up as if my eyelids were half closed. In the dream I keep trying to lay down. On a few instances I'm trying to spawn DC by saying out loud what I want.

I remember saying to one DC "this is my dream" and their response was "is it?" I did have lucid goals for the night, my first and certainly main goal was to meet my dream guide. I did this at the beginning of the dream using the "blind spot" technique (I find it to be the easiest more times than not.) However when I asked the dream guide to teach me something she was just cooking eggs and all but blew me off completely so I end up doing a scene change.

My next goal was to try to fly a pegassus but I keep talking to DCs instead. They're VERY whiny and seem to be pretty much snobs whenever I try to talk to them. Insulting me, telling me to leave them alone, etc.

Since this is my first Lucid dream that I felt was long and under control (this dream had to have been at least 15-30 minutes in real world time, all the while I was lucid) I haven't really done much to study dream control. I AM however, curious as to why.

I tried as many grounding techniques as I could when the dream was fading (mostly due to my tiredness) A lot of them were spinning. I didn't even always have to physically spin, I would just think about it and something would spin me (is that bad?)
I also tried rubbing my palms and I repeatedly said "this is my dream" just for good balance.

A: I'm so tired, I've heard of blurriness and other things. Is this just something my mind thinks of it as? Is it my subconscious trying to put me back to sleep? Is it just my own uncertainty?

B: Should I have done a better reality check? (In this case I actually just tried to control a person, I would have done the hand RC but I was 100% sure I was dreaming)

C: Is there a reason my own DCs seem so odd... I tried listening to some of them but they seemed rather rude.

D: A lot of times I kept trying to spawn certain people as I came around a corner. One time I was trying to spawn someone and a little kid was there as I came around the corner I was using as a blind spot. Is this normal? I noticed that people I mentioned by name (Taylor Swift, I've always wanted meet her) they seem to be just as I remember them.
